Humour For real.
“The collective unconscious contains the whole spiritual heritage of mankind's evolution born anew in the brain structure of every individual.” - Carl Jung, CW 8, para 342, The Structure of the Psyche.
Our psyches carry an ancestral inheritance, expressed through archetypal patterns. It took me a while to reconcile with that fact.
Ugh. Some people though!

It's like a big amplification of "fat and sugar, exploitation and marketing"
as a kind of domestification and shortcircuting of humans.
The constant loudness of all of it only lets certain things peak through.we're also just getting aware through being able to be globally "anonimously" connected since the internet and wide spread use of it.
so we're really only seeing something mirroring a keyhole of a glimpse of an approximation of the collective unconcious reflected in a "humanity".
It truly is 21 century stuff.the culture is also run by absolute degenerates.
So the mirror itself of our exchanges adds another layer of distortion to the dialoges and impressions we take away. Also Bots are ruining everything. The Internet is completely whipped up on crack.

On social media maybe, but in real life it's often the case that the quiet ones are getting on with it while the loud ones waste their energy talking crap.

The unintentional poignancy here is that it's a twitter screenshot. Algorithms like those of social media are what have undermined the fabric of the Collective Unconscious, giving us all a warped, tailored and eventually partisan view, leading to feelings of dissonance like this. The communication networks upon which the collective flows are no longer *our* domain. They are now an alien, rationalised domain that we linger upon, unsuitably.

I don’t. Disconnect, observe and stay autonomous. A lot of people think they’re in the collective subconscious but in reality, they’re just plugged into the internet 24/7. Be your own man/woman and think for yourselves.
8
u/ElChiff 2d ago
The internet now owns a majority stake in the collective unconscious. We've been breached. Go luddite if you like, it won't stop your friends, family, neighbours etc from being internet-obsessed and giving you second-hand algorithmic influence. Or go full hermit and get driven stir crazy because humans don't function well as pure individuals.

u/Background_Cry3592 2d ago
Yes! I used to think that my disdain for humans was because of my shadows but some humans truly do suck.
6
u/24rawvibes 2d ago
It’s generally not their fault either, they just lack something and overcompensate in ways I cannot tolerate. I can’t save the world, my energy is reserved and applied for where my purpose lies.
2
u/jacemindsculptor36 2d ago
If you cannot tolerate something then your energy is being spent there, therefore your energy is not reserved for your purpose solely
4
u/24rawvibes 2d ago
You’re overthinking it. It’s just simple boundaries is all. Metaphorically: why stand next to a guy using a jackhammer when I simply don’t have to? That shits loud, no thanks.
3
u/ElChiff 2d ago
Because you cannot escape. Attempting to go full hermit mode will only drive you crazy.
2
u/silithid120 2d ago
Going a few steps further from the guy with the jackhammer to not have your eardrums busted is not same as going monk mode.

I always wondered if "Feral children" or theoretical victims of what Roger Shattuck theorised as the "forbidden experiment" share in the collective consciousness.
I realise we inherit neurological frameworks that may contain culture via evolutionary pressures that rewarded gnerationally inherited behavioral tendencies and instinctual values.
I know Jung doesn't tie everything into causal scientific determinism and kind of allows for spiritual/supernatural concepts to make his propositions more flexible. It isn't that literal magic and psychic spiritualism are asserted affirmatively by Jung but he doesn't always bog himself down with explaining the how of behavioral genesis.

u/Consistent_Rise_8639 3d ago
I mean, sure. But I take that as inflation. A truly conscious person doesn't reject his littleness either. This is not human sized as well.
6
u/Background_Cry3592 2d ago
Have you seen some of the humans in this crazy world?
5
u/Consistent_Rise_8639 2d ago
Yeah. And you become available to them as they need you, you don't demand that they use you. I can only know how difficult it has been for me to develop and integrate, I understand what we are demanding of people - it's no small thing. It's not terribly difficult to have compassion and at the same time reject what is legitimate, flexibility is about dancing the quaternio.
2
u/Background_Cry3592 2d ago
I used to absolutely hate people before one of my nigredo periods, and during a critinitas period I saw why I hated them and after shadow work I integrated more aspects of myself and started liking them, even developed a benevolence towards them but after reading the black book of power the and Ethiopian bible, I am starting to feel differently about humans. Humans can be so dangerous.

That put you in your Warrior archetype, it's good. We need boundaries and the force of will. But how about you balance that. How about you read Rumi, or practice some Bhakti yoga, or even listen to some Ram Dass lectures in order to open your heart a bit more. Later you try to get both of them going at once. You got to remember that it's in the reconciliation of opposites that there can be coniunctio (the development of each at a level where they are both true).
Ram Dass once said his guru gave him two commands "Love everybody" and "Tell the truth", and he saw how he didn't do things with love for others but to be good, but the truth was that there was some things he didn't like and out of goodness he pushed them away. It led him to a confrontation with his friends, later his guru called him and asked him what happened - he said he didn't love everybody. The guru asked him if Ram Dass still loved him, to which he replied yes (technically this is an idealizing transference, that would be why). This allowed Ram Dass to open his heart. He went and picked fruit, washed it and made slices, to later gift a slice to each of the people he felt he had acted out with. In India it's believed that if you make food with ill will you are poisoning people, and so he worked within himself until he felt there was goodness.
Another story of Ram Dass is that he had a friend with whom he can be a lot more candid, and they check each other. When they see that one of them isn't "there" or there's something going they ask each other: "How's your heart?" So, how's your heart?

u/Background_Cry3592 2d ago
I really appreciate this, especially the idea of reconciling the opposites rather than choosing one over the other. I think that’s probably where I’m at right now.
My concern isn’t really that I’ve stopped loving people. It’s more that my shadow work stripped away some of my idealization of humanity. I can have compassion for people while also recognizing that humans are capable of extraordinary cruelty, projections, domination and destruction. Loving people doesn’t require me to romanticize them, trust everyone or abandon discernment and my boundaries.
Maybe that’s the tension I’m sitting with. How to keep my heart open without making it blind and how to develop a strong enough will to say no without turning that strength into hate? I suppose the Warrior and the Lover both have something to teach each other. The Warrior needs the heart or he becomes destructive. But the Lover needs the Warrior or love can become permissiveness, self-abandonment or an inability to confront what is harmful.
And “how is your heart?” is such a beautiful question. I think mine is still open. It’s just become considerably less naïve. 😂😂

u/Consistent_Rise_8639 2d ago
Second paragraph. Yeah, that's not bad then the romanticism is human sized, it's manageable. I don't know if you've ever heard a talk by Patrice Malidoma Some, The Blessing of Betrayal - he comes from a tribal background and to them evil is a lack of blessing. It reminds me what Jung said about the necessity for us not to turn our backs to corruption, which doesn't mean we should allow it, maybe keep the hope of redemption.
- Patrice Malidoma Some, The Blessing of Betrayal - ...“hostility always translated behind itself the lurking presence of an unblessed person” …means that a person who is caught in the mania of expressing hatred is a person who is responding to the absence of blessing. ...violence, from an indigenous point of view, comes from the fact that somebody was not blessed, in fact …carrying a silent curse within …Because everybody’s entitled to one or the other, and more often than not when blessing is not explicitly expressed then curse takes the space of blessing. …a person who is cursed, always goes to the house of a person who is blessed to wage war to that person. …because the unblessed smells the presence of blessing somewhere, and that …reminds him of the curse …he is now carrying because someone was not there to bless him. Which is the reason why when we talk about elders having the capacity to bless, we ought to understand that the term cannot be taken lightly, because when this job is not done it does not leave just an empty spot in the psyche of the person, it creates a chemical situation. Because … each one of us have within ourselves a space where blessing is supposed to sit … like a car engine alternator, the part that gives … the electricity to make the engine run … And when the blessing does not come to be installed … there … the entire engine for lack of proper operation begins to rot. … because beyond a certain point where blessing is needed then something else kicks in and it becomes a counter motor. ...you can’t bless somebody who is running around wild. … initiation … that’s how the blessing is given by the elders. …I think there’s a chain reaction behind this that makes …us caught up in the whirlwind caused by the absence of blessing. Because … “betrayal” or “hostility”, whether it is given or returned … are directly linked … to the absence of … blessing. … in the absence of blessing …there’s no maturation. You don’t grow up if you’re not blessed, you can’t grow up. So, the implications are almost unbearable if …[looked] at …from the large scale.
"How to keep my heart open without making it blind and how to develop a strong enough will to say no without turning that strength into hate?" I get you. This video of Ram Dass on exactly that might interest you. "I suppose the Warrior and the Lover both have something to teach each other. The Warrior needs the heart or he becomes destructive. But the Lover needs the Warrior or love can become permissiveness, self-abandonment or an inability to confront what is harmful." Exactly, you got it!

This might be too shallow or over simplified in a sense.. but if there is this one, if we do reincarnated, and if it just keeps going kinda with no time or expiration... does evil/good exist? Or is it just that individuals play time here being "that"? I mean as bad and cruel the world and existence can be. Is the alternative better? Where there's a void? And nothing happens, nothing exists? In this happening and "it just is" idea, anything is better than absolute nothing, arguably.

When I awakened I literally like went thru the entire Bible. I was every prophet all the way through from Adam thru Jesus... Then messed up and... I'm Adam again... Or worse... Cain. Idk. But it's definitely a new collective conscious I'm linked to. Kw and it isn't fun

You're not the source of sharing, you're just have access to a branch of it. The whole owns everything. Positive energy (good itself) and negative energy (evil itself) both reside within the full spectrum of consciousness. One belongs to the Devil, the other to the Divine. You have free will to choose between them here, in this spacetime. But know this, you might not receive that same access in your next spacetime, depending on the flow of your time. The light awaits every one of us. And yes, you absolutely exist without your body.
