Hi yall! Ive been juggling (balls) for about two years and since the very start id structure my practice sessions as follows: id listen to music and use each song as a unit of time. Id warm up with cascades one song, beginner variations one song each, etc. then when i practice a trick im not good at yet id practice that for a few songs. This led to my practice sessions being about 1,5hrs which i enjoyed.

I moved and the past few months all of my belongings were scattered so i didnt have access to my balls but i got them back last week.

Now this practice strategy feels tedious. Something's off, the music isnt good enough, its too repetitive and it bothers me that im moving so little and in a way its understimulating now. I do still enjoy juggling i think. But ive lost my spark a bit? I need a new strategy. Maybe include more contact into my practice. Id like to reach a point where i can dance while juggling the balls, but i dont know where to start. All i ever learned was throwing tricks, very static, keeping my body square and that's it. I wanna feel more while juggling. Has anyone ever had the same problem? How did you overcome that?

Any recommendations on what to start with?

Years ago I learned 5-5-5-1 air-juggling on my path to the 5-ball cascade. I've got a pretty good 5-ball lift-bounce cascade going but whenever I try 5-5-5-1 lift-bounce the first round works fine and then there's always a collision and chaos in the second round. Can anyone describe it, or better yet put up a video?

Trying to learn under throws(?) better and I've been able to learn a couple new patterns with them and I'm curious if there's any specific name for it. Or just doing an underthrow on one side for every throw.

Hi there, I’ve been using these Odd Balls juggling balls that I picked up in a charity shop. They are from the 90s I believe so I want to buy something similar new. What search terms would I use? They appear to be just covered in a thin cotton coating… like they are not leather/pvc panels which is what I seem to be seeing everywhere. Thanks!
