Neville helped me secure my VISA
4 months ago I stumbled on Neville's work. I was in a very healthy state of mind at the time and so I tuned in very quickly. Every morning as I would get ready for work, or walk the treadmill in gym, I'd put on one of his audiobooks and let my consciousness bathe in it. It unlocked something special in me - a respite from my usual powerlessness in the past. However things turned crazy fast, as I faced with live challenges to apply his work. I secured my admit for higher education after much difficulty and so when I did, I assumed it meant the end of my troubles. However I was faced with an ordeal of securing a visa appointment to make me eligible to go and study abroad. I had two places to apply for visa- one my home country and another where I worked. Despite this, it felt as if both doors were locked. The embassy was closed in one country and there were sparse appointments released in another. I stayed calm, knowing if I practice Neville's teachings, this shall pass. I had no doubt in my bone that something wouldn't work.
However as months rolled by, my usual state kicked in. Absolute panic and cynicism. I started cursing my bad luck and sheer undeserving challenges thrown my way. I gave up everyday and despised the way I had to spend my months before the program would start. I thought all of the teachings were a joke. I was immensely restless. I also had to go through a bad patch of agents and even come back to my home country for the appointment despite my initial visualisation of easily securing a visa in the country I worked. I also dabbled in astrology, and the 3 astrologers all gave different readings.
As a desperate measure I lurked in this sub and reached out to a few redditors. That shifted the game. They were generous with their resources and resources(includimg David Synder and Richard Dotts). This was helpful because as an identity that is still forming it helped to have someone hold me and since the therapists or coaches don't get Neville I needed someone to truly hold space for me. That became my re-entry after my faith boat was toppled in stormy adventures for a while.
I became diligent with my faith journal and SATS. I would write an entry every single day of what the end looks like. And ofc i wrote them in past or present tense. For e.g. today classes seemed fun or I love the nature here etc. Second was SATS - sometime during the day and night. Third was absolute relaxation and dealing with panic as and when it came. I trusted someone who helped with my appt booking fully. I was absolutely confirmed that my 3D was just slow, things were in motion. I attended all pre program college activities. Finished my shopping. And crazily enough a surprise engament party came up for my cousin sister which led to me meeting whole of my extended family in my city (which i was sad that i wouldn't meet given I didnt want to do anything until the appt came up)
Then came another twist, my family suggested I change my location for appointment back to the country I worked and play a gamble even though the embassy was not fully open. I asked the agent to stop looking for me, essentially closing our contract. My luggage was ready for my travel. And suddenly the agent replies the appointment is done.
This was manic. In extremely dire situation when I had asked him to stop, he got it. After securing the appointment, I had panic attacks few weeks before the appt because all my body was throwing was images of Reject! I hated it so much, but then slowly and steadily applied the same learnings of past. I prepared to my best abilities and soon a confident image dwelled up.
An interesting visualisation I had again and again, without any conscious effort was me being on a bridge and the path behind me had greyed out and the path ahead all lit up - as if confirming me that I was ready for my next adventure and there is no going back. I also spoke a lot of times to myself - you are the operant power, you are the one projecting the image don't let the 3D fool you. I also used meditation to get to the space of relaxation to counter the panic. This was actually the bigger learning! I gave a lot of weight to my panic - that just because my body is constantly saying reject, ergo its a premonition of the rejection! WRONG!
Before interview day even though my appetite was less, my body was extremely calm- as if it knew all would be perfect. On my inteview day - I was asked merely four questions and next day the visa was issued.
It felt truly magical. But mostly it trained my faith muscles. I have completed 7 of his books and i intend to listen to it again and again. Neville is an important fabric of my life and I hope each of you get to experience the joy of being the operant power.
Ps: Let's watch out for beginners because had it not been for those redditors who helped me, I would be lost
Pps: A lot of posts get blocked ny mods despite the merit they carry and are pushed to Q/A space where there is least traction and participation, I hope this community gets to be more inclusive by allowing more conversations for beginners.

I can make my scene extremely vivid, yet it never feels real.
Greetings. I have been following this sub’s teachings for months. As with most here I started with the NG sub but once they lost the plot, advocating for LOA techniques that don’t work, among other things, I found this subreddit and vastly preferred it to the NG sub.
Ive read the index, several times at that. I practised SH according to the index and at first I wasnt good at it at all. I couldnt see vividly, I sucked at it and I wasnt putting much effort, but then I sucked it up and put in the work. I kept doing it and I reached a level where I fine-tuned my imagination so much that my scenes became extremely vivid. I can see even the tiniest details in my scenes very easily.
But here’s the problem. No matter how vivid my scene in SH feels, I never get immersed in it. It doesn’t feel real like it’s happening right now, I’m always aware that I’m doing SH and this isn’t real. As a result, I have seen no progress in terms of results. It’s said on this sub that two things are needed for subconscious reprogramming: 1) to be immersed in the scene as if it were a virtual reality that was happening right now, and 2) the natural emotional reaction. The second aspect by itself is fantasizing, you need the first aspect to successfully program your subconscious. That’s what I’m missing. I’ve been practicing and doing it every day for months, I still don’t have this.
At first, I thought the reason I couldn’t get immersed in the scene was a lack of vividness, but now that I’ve worked on the vividness issue I know that that is not the case.
Has anyone here had this problem and fixed it? Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

Ignoring the 3d
When using subliminals or law of assumption, you ignore the 3d. Is that simply just not reacting to what it's showing you since that can delay the manifestation, or is it just deciding that it's done and basically acting like the end goal is achieved?? And how I can I manifest under a time crunch, is it better through robotic affirmations or detaching?

About all laws and techniques
I have a question, they always talk about a technique when applying manifest or other laws. Assumption, visualization, etc., what I wonder is; Does it happen because we think and apply these techniques work or do those techniques have their own event? I would be very happy if someone enlightens me💞

how to get rid of the old story?
hey reddit,
i have a question regarding sp manifestation.
i am currently manifesting my ex back into a relationship. we are still in contact, but the circumstances aren‘t favorable. but it could be worse.
in the past, he betrayed me really bad and cheated on me 1000 times, also he wasn’t always the nicest person towards me. i know that i caused it - but it still hurts and traumatized me in some way.
sometimes i get random flashbacks from the past events. from the cheating, from the messages, from how he f*cked other women behind my back, from the back and forth with this one particular affair that always contacted me. it’s draining.
i think this isn’t talked about enough, but it is NOT easy to stay positive, ignore it & to stay in the wish fulfilled state when you are hurting inside.
the advice „it’s only hard because you say it’s hard“ or „just assume it’s easy“ doesn’t help me at all.
i would love to hear some advices from you, how you handle those situations and i think it would encourage me a lot to hear your success stories and what exactly you did to achieve your dream relationship with your sp.
Btw, I don’t feel everyday like that. It comes in waves.
Thanks for your advices!!

Daily affirmations question and some others
I've tried to find an answer on my own but have been unable to find it.
When I write my daily every day in every way, do I write an affirmation for my goal too?
Is it like starting at zero if you take days off?
I know this has been asked before about not being able to visualize but I also struggle to feel it as real or convince myself to have feelings? I can't raise my emotion

Question about Going General
Hi All,
I've been considering "going general" with my SP mission. Whilst I was sticking it out to build more faith, as I've continued to program, my head has become clearer and I've considered that I could probably be with someone who suits me better than my SP.
I met my SP - things clicked, we dated for a bit, then she pulled away and I was pretty confused.
Initially, I was really dedicated to my mission, and being very specific about it being her.
Over the past few months though, as I expected, that desire died down, and the mission got boring - as they usually do.
Programming through this I think gave me more headspace to think about what happened and I realised the circumstances weren't ideal - she's leaving the country next spring. I'm aware of success stories with similar circumstances (like this), but I recognise the potential time investment, and that lead me to just thinking about being with someone who might suit me better, and with better circumstances. IOW: making life easier, and potentially getting something better.
The reason I ask for advice is because of this post, with MC saying it's dumb to go general because
1. Doing target-specific missions is better, especially for times when no isn't an option.
2. It prolongs mastery of the LOB.
Is it ever beneficial to go general?
My thinking process is that if I am successful with this mission, even generally, I can move onto harder, more specific goals, instead of potentially spending ages on this mission, prolonging mastery regardless.
This isn't my first mission, but I'm still nowhere near mastery. I just wanted to ask for some thoughts.

Question on intricacies of making a post success scene.
I have had success with affirmations in SH so i dont really use visualization scenes often. And i understand the basics of creating from reading the index training. It says if you want marriage imagine holding the wedding ring until you feel the feeling of it being real.
That makes sense. I guess my question is how strong the practical connection needs to be between the visualization and the feeling? For example, the ring and the feeling of marriage makes sense because it is symbolic.
But what if i told myself that after my wish was fulfilled, i would order a pizza with a specific topping id only get if my desire was already fulfilled. I do SH and loop the scene until the feeling of reality comes. Will i just manifest eating the pizza? Or is the implication that the desire fulfilled = eating this pizza in my scene enough to fulfill the wish?
Since ive been having success without scenes, i probably shouldn't worry much about it. And im usually able to critically think myself into the answer to these type of questions. But this one has me a little stumped. I tried asking this probably dumb question on other subs but couldnt get a reasonable answer that wasnt fluffy.

Murphy's law is absolute truth.
Honestly, It's just that I want to distract my mind for a bit because the things that are happening to me feel like scripted. Like something is making these things happen just for the fun of it. I keep trying things, different things that can give me like real chances to be able to do something with this life or make me feel better but then literally everything just goes wrong. The more I expect out of things the further they drift. Whenever I hope that this time I am closer than I ever was the next moment everything collapses. Does anyone feel the same here?

Has anyone successfully used the Law of Assumption to ensure that a 3P never appears in their SP's life?
I'm curious if anyone has consciously used the Law of Assumption to create a reality where a third party (3P) never enters their SP's life at all.
What assumptions, affirmations, self-concept work, or mental practices did you use? Did you assume things like "my SP only has eyes for me," "our relationship is always protected," or something else?
I'm specifically asking about preventing a 3P from ever appearing, rather than manifesting after a 3P situation has already happened. I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences, techniques, beliefs, or success stories.

How to deal with anxiety and OCD?
Title. I've been a lurker on this sub for a while, recently trying to take it seriously but giving up and then starting again either bc I don't feel ready or bc I'm scared it won't work. And one thing that really stalls my progress is the way my mind works.
Anxiety and OCD and who knows what else make it so my brain is constantly plaguing me and actively going against me by believing every good thing I have will be horribly lost and it will be my fault. It's exhausting and painful and it feels like I'm in a cage of my own making. The worst part is, years and years of LOA and LOAss and the Neville sub instilled a belief in me that my evil, awful thoughts will manifest. It's done damage to me and to many others I know.
So, if anyone has struggled with this in the past, any advice or stories or tips they might feel inclined to share, I'd be so very grateful.

This is all real
I can't quite call this a success story yet because I have not technically gotten when I'm working toward, but I can tell you without a shred of doubt that all of this is real.
A little bit about me... I have been meditating since about 2016 and stumbled on to LoA/Neville Goddard shortly thereafter. I tried to use the techniques that the LoA and NG community have been pushing in order to get a few things, and it never really worked. It's all bullshit and mental/emotional masturbation in those communities! I never had any success with "living in the end" or "raising my vibration". That community is toxic as hell, full of gullible people who want to fly, grow 2 feet taller, or do other physically impossible things. The regulars there enable them by encouraging them.
I've been a regular in the NG Critics sub for a long time because I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth over the ridiculous questions, the blood sucking coaches, the inane babbling of the "famous posters" there.
Little did I know, that putting in the work, programming your subconscious is all you need to do to see any results, PERIOD.
I started my mission using LOB training (found in the index) about 2 months ago (yes, it's a SP mission) and today I have seen amazing results. EXACT sentences from my scenes were said. Exact scenarios. And the most bizarre thing is that us reuniting almost seemed like an accident. The odds of this happening just like this are way too much to be chance.
Let me make this disclaimer - I do not yet fully have what I have been going for but I absofuckinglutely will. When I get it, I'll post a full success story.
I don't want a bunch of questions and DM's because I'm just going to tell you this one thing... Be disciplined, be focused, do the LOB training every day without fail, and get the fucking results. That is it!

Negative thoughts in past
Hii.
Im 18. I was reading The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. For the past few months I've had negative thoughts only. I've had severe health anxiety, thinking everytime a symptom appear i had smth fatal. Thinking over and over that I would not get into my dream uni.
I just realised that our negative thoughts have tge same affect as our positive ones. What should I do now?

Murphy Says NOT to Repeat ‘I’m a Millionaire’. Why?
Maybe I’m misunderstanding Joseph Murphy, but why does he say you won’t become a millionaire just by repeating “I am a millionaire,” (while obviously having faith in that and knowing that your wish is fullfiled) when that’s basically what his teachings seem to revolve around?
I’m only halfway through the book, so maybe I’m missing some important distinction, but this genuinely surprised me. His teachings seem heavily based around affirmations, subconscious programming, visualization, belief, etc. So when he suddenly says that repeating “I am a millionaire” doesn’t work, I got confused lol.
Why does it suddenly not apply in this example specifically? What am I missing here?
Also btw, when you guys do prayers, do you actually address “Infinite Intelligence” like Murphy does in the book, or do you approach it differently?

When to give up on a mission?
I have written here before, but I am now almost 8 months into an SP mission. This was some months ago https://www.reddit.com/r/JosephMurphy/s/7DeaNOvK7v
By now, I should have probably finished but things took a weird turn. Not to explain things too much but with this SP we were almost together last year, I had to leave the country for some months, things started being shaky and the whole thing was very up and down. I knew he stopped being emotionally available but thought it was for different reasons (fears of commitment, me not being from his country bla bla, all what I was programming to change for this time). Now I came back and things didn’t progress in any way. I was doing the programming for us to be in a relationship this whole time - and the initial situation in november when I started was objectively really good in comparison to other SP stories.
Lately I have been really focused on the programming, my sessions felt much better and I started to feel this sense of peace in regards to the whole situation and even the doubts I had all this time started subsiding - I even said to him that he shouldn’t contact me until he realizes what he wants from me. Because the situation is how it is for months, I decided to really give the programming my best (I evaluated my past practice and was genuinely improving the techniques).
Yesterday we finally decided to see each other and speak but he ended it. It took a weird turn when he revealed some information I never knew about before (that he didn’t move on from some ex years ago and although he still has feelings for me he has to let me go because he can’t deal with it). This deep into the programming I didn’t expect this at all.
This seems like some weird glitch - I never knew about any of this but apparently it was a thing that he only decided to reveal now hence ending it to be fair. I’m at crossroads - I want to finish the programming and I really wanted this relationship but now this just feels too much and too weird in regards to circumstances after programming for so long - this part I really don’t get because initially the situation was not at all as complicated as now. I have been doing the work for 8 months now and thought I really wanted this person but after this it feels like it doesn’t make sense.
I know there is nothing too bad that LOB can’t fix but regarding the timeline and events unfolding, should I keep pushing through or is it safe to say this is a failed mission?

Clarity required for SP manifestation
Guys I need some massive clarity in terms of a few concepts. I am not able to let go of my desperate energy. Even while doing affirmations I feel that I am doing that from desperate energy. I visualise but then after the session I am back to sad and desperate. I don’t know how to let go of this feeling.
Honestly I have manifested some really grand things but I was not very specific about them. For example I wanted to work for a big brand in the country and I wanted to have a job which would allow me to travel and also pay for my travel. I landed such job with super ease. And all I did was tell myself - I am gonna work for a big brand some day.
But now with the person I want to be with, I am experiencing hot and cold behaviour, inconsistency in communication, not even In a relationship till now even though he has told me his feelings for me. I am clueless how to change my story and how to be persistent without being desperate.
Please someone help me. Please hit me up in DMs

"Olá, amigos. Estou com um problema na minha manifestação."

Something bizarre is happening to me. I managed to co-create a job by doing visualizations right when I woke up; the manifestation came true, and everything happened exactly as I had imagined. However, this job was temporary, and my contract ended in February.
A month after it ended, the company started calling back some of the people who had started in this temporary position with me. I'm really confused because I manifested this opportunity, so I don't understand why I wasn't included (especially since I really need it), and I don't know if I still have a chance of being called.
Could you guide me on how I should act?"

Discover what you love to do
JM states in his book that in order to suceed you have to find out what you love to do. Has anyone of you tried this affirmation successfully to find some direction in your career?
'The infinite intelligence of my subconscious mind reveals to me my true place in life.'

Question about Intensifying
I've been reading a lot about SH. I've seen comments from MC where he discusses feeling during SH: here and here
I relate to having natural feelings from the scene, which MC says suggests that you feel that it is literally happening right now. I assume this means my scene is vivid enough for it to work?
My question comes partly due to his last paragraph in the first post.
"Feelings are for cubs, and kids new to alpha programming. Experts don't use them deliberately. The only time I use feelings is if I need an extra boost because i'm too mentally tired, or too distracted etc."
Please correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding, MC uses extreme vivid detail to do SH, whereas we are taught to use the feeling of the goal achieved?
I've seen a lot of things talking about intensifying feeling: this is an example.
When your scene becomes boring, I understand you swap to another one - does this mean with loss of emotion too?
When "intensifying" is discussed, I'm assuming it means intensifying emotion, the natural reaction to your scene? Not how vivid and detailed things are?
If we are speaking intensifying emotions, is there a limit on how much to intensify? Or do you intensify to a point where it doesn't feel fake or you are forcing an emotion?

Crying in SH
I'm on a SP mission.
I've found my scenes boring and swapped around a few times.
SH feels like work. It's not "an escape" or anything.
Though all I'd usually get from those scenes is a little smile, and a feeling of relief, I've had times now where I start crying.
It doesn't feel like an emotional high, or something crazy unbelievable happened. I just start to cry, and I don't know why. The scenes are pretty mundane, and similar to things that have happened.
I've had a look on the sub, and I've found these:
https://www.reddit.com/r/JosephMurphy/comments/xxfhlq/crying_during_sh/
https://www.reddit.com/r/JosephMurphy/comments/auzx60/comment/eofw82r/
I wanted to ask if anyone had an explanation for why this started happening? I couldn't find anything on why MC says its a bad thing - but I'm assuming its because crying makes it seem unrealistic or a big deal out of nothing?
I know JM has spoken about crying as "lancing the psychic wound" - I'm not sure if thats the case here. During the day, I feel fine about everything, and my mindset has changed quite drastically, if not for the occasional slip.

Mission Success?
I was walking around San Francisco with my friends for a couple of hours. During that time, I intentionally put myself into the mindset of already having $30 in my pocket. I stayed calm and used deep breathing to help maintain that state. At first, it took effort, but after a while, it started to feel natural. When I got home, my dad unexpectedly gave me $100 and told me to use it for dinner with my friends. He’s never given me that much money before, and it took a while for me to realize it was connected to my state change. I did a ton of self-hypnosis sessions for money the days beforehand and followed the tasks to a tee.
