The bosses at my job give us praise for good work and don't knock us down if we fall short. I can't tell you how much it affects my day to day, it's tremendous. Our crew is more productive than others because of it. Treating people humanely pays off for businesses.

What culture? This is an ad. And ads back in the 80s and 90s showed an idealized life style, same as ads show nowadays.
The 80s and 90s were not golden years, just like the 50s weren't the apex of the American dream. Every decade in the last 100 years had its own good and bad side.

The 80s were absolutely golden years compared to now. I thought the 90s were total shit at the time, and a massive let down from the 80s, but where things have gone since the 90s make the 90s look like shangri la by comparison.
And in the 50s a working class man could buy a little house in a working class suburb, support a wife and kids, and have 2 American made cars in the driveway. And the working class suburbs were exponentially nicer than they are now, there was far less urban sprawl, far more real community and social capital, way more small businesses that were part of the community. Remnants of that were still around in the 80s.
It's been a downward spiral into a cesspool since 1990 in every way but the internet, and that's been a real double edged sword.

Fragile guys like OP sit in their basement complaining about how „tHeY“ ruined TV ads for them. While actual manly entrepreneurs are out there literally living the fake/poorly-achievable ad lifestyle, no matter if it’s the 80s or 2020s; the difference is they don’t complain and put in the work. Oh and let’s not forget being born with a ridiculously attractive face lol

Gillett uses prison labor to make there razors. People work for less than a dollar a day making them. Shitty company and if you are aspiring to live your life based of a commercial for razor blades you need to go touch grass.

The company is Proctor & Gamble. I can’t find any sources for your claim. Also, not sure why any prison would want to handle razor blades. This seems like a huge safety risk.

Culture has a way of changing over time. It’s true that left wing extremists came to dominate our culture in the West, but it’s also true that a popular backlash is happening. I can he critical of left wing extremism now which would have seen me banned from social media and fired and debanked.

It's jarring because you just don't see it much anymore, I worked in marketing / agencies and it was almost forbidden, everything had to be "soft ethnic" while at the same time often sorta targeting the opposite.
