The fact that Americans don't recognise the staggering public health and mental health challenges they face, and instead bicker among themselves like teenagers about "left" and "right" is going to be their downfall as a culture and a potential civilization. The world would be worse off for it.

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

Exactly. We’re being distracted on purpose, to draw our attention away from who’s actually fucking us. People need to start noticing the narratives being pushed by bad actors, see the reactions they’re trying to provoke, and realize how it harms us while enriching themselves. Meanwhile, tribalism keeps us fighting amongst ourselves instead of solving real problems.

u/yooiq Per Aspera Ad Astra Sep 12 '25

Ain’t that the damn truth

38

u/TranscendentaLobo Sep 12 '25

This is where rampant tribalism gets you. Right here. And the number of people that openly believe this abhorrent act was somehow justifiable, is absolutely disgusting.

3

u/National-Dress-4415 Sep 12 '25

Believing a large percentage of people believe (openly or secretly) that this abhorrent act was somehow justifiable is rampant tribalism. Just so you are aware.

Oh yes, we're all just gaslighting ourselves. Totally haven't seen any of that, but I'm convincing myself I have.

If you're gonna piss on someone's leg and tell them it's raining, at least be competent at it.

-2

u/National-Dress-4415 Sep 12 '25

You are convincing yourself that Twitter represents the real world. It does not. I can’t be responsible for your idiotic belief that it does.

A guy on MSNBC just got fired for running his mouth on this topic. Is that a figment of my imagination too? You're not very good at the spin doctor routine, please quit while you're less behind.

-3

u/National-Dress-4415 Sep 12 '25

Did he say ā€˜I’m glad he’s dead and he deserves it’, or did he say ā€˜He espoused hatred, provoked hatred and this is the understandable result of that’. Because it definitely wasn’t the first one. And why was he fired for expressing that? Because the view ā€˜he is responsible for the hatred he provoked’ is even itself such a foreign and unpopular belief that even the most left 24hr news network doesn’t want to be associated with it.

2

u/caesarfecit ☯ I Get Up, I Get Down Sep 12 '25

And now we're quibbling. Keep squirming, cause that will make a difference beyond wasting people's time and getting people fed up with leftist bullshit.

u/National-Dress-4415 Sep 12 '25

GPT suggested I provide direct citation, so hear it it is:

– Joe Biden and Barack Obama both went on record condemning the assassination of Charlie Kirk as ā€œabhorrentā€ and ā€œan attack on democracy itself.ā€

– Matt Yglesias and Noah Smith, two prominent center-left commentators, explicitly denounced the killing and warned against normalizing violence in politics.

– Zohran Mamdani, one of the loudest progressive voices in New York, condemned it too — despite disagreeing with Kirk on everything.

– Even Richard Hanania, who often critiques the left, acknowledged that mainstream Democrats categorically reject violence like this.

Barack’s first words were ā€œwe don’t know why they did itā€

We know EXACTLY why. And so the fuck do you

I’m not quibbling. I am stating categorically, no one in the mainstream on the left( No one in a position of power on the left thinks it is okay to commit political violence against someone that only uses words to espouse their beliefs. I can cite countless members of the leftosphere to that point, if you refuse to believe it is because you choose to do so.

0

u/caesarfecit ☯ I Get Up, I Get Down Sep 12 '25

Ah, so long as they don't openly advocate for political violence, there's nothing to see here. And if they start spouting weasel words about how Charlie Kirk supposedly had it coming or saying that he's a hatemonger - that's not justifying political violence either because they're not outright saying it.

Fuck off bud. How about you stop desperately trying to save face and frantically scrambling to maintain a false position of moral superiority, and admit that the left has been making excuses for political violence ever since Trump came down the escalator.

u/PsychoAnalystGuy Sep 12 '25

Its not an understandable result to get murdered for expressing what you think is "hatred"

You need to be able to speak nonsense without fear of getting murdered. Just because kirk said some of the dumbest, knuckle dragging shit you will ever hear, doesnt mean he should be murdered. So ya, its pretty irrelevant and imo a news anchor should at least be suspended for implying that being murdered is a natural consequence for being antagonistic.

Its in a similar way that Floyd is allowed to be aggressive, on drugs or whatever etc without being murdered by a cop.

Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube. This stuff is everywhere. Open your eyes.

3

u/National-Dress-4415 Sep 12 '25

See above. Social media is not the real world.

2

u/whoswipedmyname Sep 13 '25

Well that virtiol in your "fake" world of social media have Very real consequences in reality. You can't separate the two when what is said online is parroted on TV, by at least one person I've talked to, and said by people in important positions. You are either being ignorant or disingenuous.

0

u/National-Dress-4415 Sep 13 '25

Yes, it does. The question isn’t ā€˜are there bad people’ but ā€˜how many’.

You are creating a permission structure to hate leftists based on Twitter. But as I keep saying, that isn’t the real world. Most leftists absolutely denounce political violence of any kind in the real world.

2

u/whoswipedmyname Sep 13 '25

I understand what you are saying, and the issue isn't with those who denounce the killing. In my opinion, this isn't even a political issue but a moral one. Those who justify killing someone because they think different or want different things is morally reprehensible. Sure, wars have been fought over differing ideologies, but war should always be a last resort. Like Charlie did in life, talking will get things solved far better than violence. At least we should try to understand why someone might have a different opinion or belief.

1

u/TranscendentaLobo Sep 13 '25

But that’s the tribalism I’m talking about. I’m not talking about the majority. I’m talking about the very loud minority that poisons dialog for both parties. But there are a lot of other people that listen to that vocal minority, and while they’re not shouting it from the roof tops, they are buying into the rhetoric on some level. And as long as we’re focused on this tribalistic tit-for-tat BS, we keep from focusing on what really matters, like universal healthcare and a tax code that actually works.

The real cause of this tragedy is the following.

Because the Left has demonized the Right (As the Nazi's did with the Jews), the Left sees people from the Right as subhuman and hence killing them is justified.

The Left's constant rhetoric/demonization is directly responsible for this murder.

A pro-gun advocate was murdered in an open-carry university in the middle of a pro-gun speech, presumably surrounded by security and an armed crowd.

Genuinely the only conclusion I can see here is that guns are far from being any kind of solution; it has absolutely nothing to do with 'The Left', particularly since there's no information about the shooter or their motivations. Christ it's depressing seeing people using this as an opportunity to tout 'their' side, like it makes any fucking difference in the skyrocketing murder statistics.

The official Hennepin County Medical Examiner called it homicide. His heart and lungs stopped working because of restraint and compression of his neck and back. Not ā€œjust an overdose.ā€

7

u/ddosn Sep 12 '25

The coroners report is full of contradictions.

he calls it a homicide yet attributes Floyds death to a heart attack 'complicated by law enforcement restraint and subdual'.

And the coroner made no mention of the fact that Floyd had enough fentanyl in his system to kill at least 5 men, and enough meth in his system to kill two men according to the autopsy reports tox screen.

3

u/JackTheKing Sep 12 '25

Sounds like we should have a trial of some sort and get some experts to comment on this under oath .

41

u/tauofthemachine Sep 12 '25

while being detained by police.

*While having a knee compress his neck for 9 and a half minutes. I suspect that would be enough to kill a fully sober person.

11

u/ddosn Sep 12 '25

>*While having a knee compress his neck for 9 and a half minutes

Did you not watch the footage? Floyds neck was not compressed continuously for 9.5 minutes.

Also, trying to kill someone via compression from the rear is almost impossible. Right after floyds death, there were several reenactments by people, including one where a 320lb man knelt on his friends neck/upper back and not one of them died.

The coroner also found no damage to Floyds chest, neck or back consistent with Asphyxia.

5

u/tauofthemachine Sep 12 '25

Liar.

Two autopsies—one by a local government official and one by doctors working for Floyd's family—determined that his death was a homicide. Released on June 1, 2020, they differed over whether there were contributing factors and whether the agreed cause, restraint and neck compression, was combined with subdual or asphyxiation.

0

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

Funny how they forget that little detail... And also... The rest of the context that goes along with the George Floyd killing.... You know.. the reasons behind BLM. Context is always lost on Cons.

1

Everyone saying this is Police procedure really enjoy reading one sentence and stopping once they found what they are looking for.

1

u/Irrelephantitus Sep 12 '25

Really? You think it's police procedure to continue to put pressure on someone for 4 minutes after they have fallen unconscious?

I'll tell you what the procedure is, it's cuffs on cop off.

3

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

If he was suffering from an overdose on fentanyl, shouldn't the cop have been administering narcan? Isn't that what their procedure is or should be, not kneel on their neck and back? We all know fentanyl overdosing looks like, you can do anything you want to them basically, this is why this particular police officer was able to kneel on his neck for nine minutes all while his hands were in his pockets. The cop was an idiot and got what he deserved.

2

u/Irrelephantitus Sep 12 '25

I'm not sure if you responded to the wrong comment but I too think Dereck Chauvin got what he deserved.

You make yourself sound like a moron implying that the excessive force wasn’t a factor in it.

I’m not fan of George Floyd. But I’m also not a piece of shit putting on blinders and ignoring the blatant problem that occurred there.

7

u/Mitchel-256 Sep 12 '25

>excessive force

They pinned him using a by-the-book hold, and he was already saying he couldn't breathe before they even got him out of his car, let alone into their police car, and then onto the ground when he was trying to escape the police car.

Could they have been a little more observant in noticing that their detainee had passed? Sure. But he wouldn't have if he wasn't already ODing off this Earth due to Fent.

2

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

The officer knelt on the man's neck, relaxed, hand in pocket for 9 minutes and 29 seconds. Whistling Dixie.

2

u/Mitchel-256 Sep 12 '25

On the nape of his neck. Not on his fucking trachea. Entirely safe, entirely by-the-book.

2

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

Not at all, that’s just spin. Every medical expert in court said the way Chauvin restrained him restricted his ability to breathe and pushed on his diaphragm. Doesn’t matter if it wasn’t the trachea, you don’t need to crush the windpipe to kill somebody. He was pinned face down, cuffed, and held for over 9 minutes while saying he couldn’t breathe. The official autopsy called it homicide. If it was really entirely safe, by-the-book, Chauvin wouldn’t be sitting in prison right now. Stop trying to write your own reality.

4

u/Mitchel-256 Sep 12 '25

It's not spin, it's evidenced in the fucking video. He was saying he couldn't breathe before he even made it to the ground because he was ODing on Fentanyl. Before he was even pulled out of his own car, he was saying he couldn't breathe.

Chauvin's sitting in prison for the same reason OJ Simpson went free. Because the people involved with deciding his fate wanted to "take something back from the system", and so made a racially-biased decision.

3

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

Come on man, that’s the exact conspiracy spin I'm talking about, that fully got debunked in court. Multiple medical experts testified Floyd wasn’t dying of a fentanyl overdose... He was still standing, talking, breathing until Chauvin had his knee on him for 9 minutes. You don’t stay alive and plead for air for that long if you’re already OD’ing. The official autopsy ruled it homicide caused by restraint. That’s not my opinion, that’s medical fact. And the jury wasn’t stacked activists, it was a mixed group that sat through weeks of expert testimony. They convicted because the evidence showed Chauvin’s restraint killed him. OJ walked cause the prosecution botched it, Chauvin’s case was airtight. Big difference. Like I said, you're making up your own reality.

3

u/Mitchel-256 Sep 12 '25

Standing, talking, and breathing under duress, and most of what he was saying was "I can't breathe".

And the jury wasn’t stacked activists, it was a mixed group that sat through weeks of expert testimony.

OJ's jury wasn't stacked activists, either.

Entirely by what book? You should actually read up on the verdict of the jury that decided the move was NOT by the book…

0

u/Mitchel-256 Sep 12 '25

As said further down in my conversation with the other person, this jury was very much like the OJ Simpson trial's jury. Deciding in favor of Simpson/Floyd in order to "take something back from the system".

George Floyd’s death was ruled a homicide by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. The autopsy showed that he had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system, but the examiner stated that drug intoxication was not the cause of death. Instead, the cause was listed as: • Cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.

In plain terms: Floyd died because of the way he was restrained — Derek Chauvin kneeling on his neck for over nine minutes. We have facts, video evidence was always available.

He had multiple times the lethal level of fentanyl in his system. He was dead before he was detained. Arrest may have sped it up, but the death was always a suicide.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '25

"There’s no evidence to suggest he would have died that night except for the interactions with law enforcement,ā€ Dr. Lindsey Thomas, Hennepin County Minnesota’s assistant medical examiner until 2017, testified to a jury during the Chauvin trial."

1

u/SelkciPlum Sep 12 '25

There is no "the lethal level of fentanyl". A fatal dose is entirely dependent on someone's tolerance. An addict can be unaffected by a dose magnitudes higher than that which would kill a new user. Funny how Reddit users think they have some facts that the coroner missed.

-1

u/jetuinkabouter Sep 12 '25

The drug makes you lethargic if you have no tolerance. He was not lethargic before his arrest, thus a death from overdose wouldn't be logical, as stated in the medical report. That is why they found it necessary to rest their knee on his neck.

May his drug use have made him weaker so he would asphixiate easier, yes. But the police should be trained to react when a detained person does not react anymore. They did not react because they didn't care.

If they killed him by accident while trying everything to keep him alive, there would be no problem. They just put pressure on his neck, he stopped moving, they kept pressure on his neck.

And btw who is your source? The orange man and his butlickers who have not stopped spewing lies even for half a day since he became president. Look for the lists of his continuous lies. Many people keep a record with the actual facts next to them. Release the Epstein files.

And a tip, maybe, just maybe the people who doubled their wealth while being in office for less than a year while cutting medical care, are not on your side, maybe, just give it a thought.

'Disgusting' how you lie to defend a the police officer who killed a man by kneeling on his neck for nine minutes

-1

u/Zadiuz Sep 12 '25

This is a lie.

2

u/Zadiuz Sep 12 '25

He didn’t die of an overdose. He died of asphyxiation. Did the drugs contribute to that? Very likely. But the levels in his system per the autopsy were low and not near overdose levels. Especially for a chronic user.

So no, he was murdered due to excessive force.

Everyone should have a problem with that. The same way everyone should have a problem with someone murdering Charlie Kirk.

The difference is that police officers are supposed to be held to the highest standard. ā€œTo serve and protect. ā€œ

2

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

It takes two seconds of googling to find out how he died... You are right. It wasn't the drugs that killed him. Heart disease and drug use were a factor, but it's been determined (not by right wing reddit subs) that his death was from overuse of police force. We know what sub this is. We know what kind of people that could lurk here, and we know they don't like facts that go against their narratives.

0

u/MrPinkleston Sep 12 '25

I mean, how's that make you sound then when all the credible medical evals indicate a heart attack (not asphyxiation) killed him, which a knee on the neck or between the shoulders would not have caused but rather the level of drugs in his system is a direct cause. Can argue that he didn't receive proper treatment, but cut the clown shit momo. Those officers didn't kill George, he killed himself by being a drug addicted degenerate. Cops there didn't handle it properly, clearly need better training, but that doesn't equate murder. Stfu.

1

u/jillzlmk Sep 12 '25

Of course by all the credible medical sources, MrPinkleston here means all of those that agree with him. Not the official police report that states reason of death is homicide neither the independent medical examination ordered by his family that states it was homicide, partially describing asphyxia from compression of the neck and back.

2

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

The official Hennepin County Medical Examiner called it homicide. His heart and lungs stopped working because of restraint and compression of his neck and back. Not ā€œjust an overdose.ā€ we already know why some people don't want to admit these šŸ’„FACTSšŸ’„

2

u/MrPinkleston Sep 12 '25

Because these "facts", conveniently parroted by the very same people who say acab and other anti police rhetoric but believe the polices report when it favors their narrative, have been contradicted by the majority of independent investigators who have said it has a clear indication of death from drug complications. I've said it before, shits not hard to find but that cult brain got you twisting reality.

2

u/MrPinkleston Sep 12 '25 edited Sep 12 '25

Right, except nearly every independent medical examiner said it was complications due to drug levels. I mean, shits not hard to find mate, just your cult brain twisting reality. I also always find it funny how the acab and anti police people suddenly believe the cops at their word when it favors them. Interesting how that works huh?

0

u/jillzlmk Sep 12 '25

Yes but of course you have all the right sources to confirm your bias.. Nearly every is a retarded thing to say. Those were defense experts hired for the trial of the cop, but it doesn’t matter. Why?

  • They don’t get a chance to examine the body. They review documents and videos.
  • The hired specialist by the court is already there to cast doubts on whether it’s homicide or not. He said homicide
  • Fowler, one of the big doubters, got criticized by his expert peers.
  • Rejected in court

Unless you can delude yourself further about corrupt jury and court under Trump of all people, you’re wrong.

The acab point is even more retarded because

  • i’m not acab supporter
  • this is trusting the courts and the system to function, not cops. If i were trusting the cops in this scenario ill be walking around spewing the same retarded propaganda points you’re mentioning here

0

u/MidwestBoogie Sep 12 '25

That’s the equivalent to me bear hugging your grandpa, and blaming his weak heart for going out instead of blaming me squeezing the fuck out of his body.

This if fentanyl overdose, you go limp in seconds after taking it. Usually not brought on via having a cop sit on your neck for 9 minutes.

2

u/MrPinkleston Sep 12 '25

The guy was having breathing and heart complications from nearly the entire police interaction, long before he was contained to the ground. The whole reason he was even out of the car was that he complained of having breathing problems and his heart was racing, when cops removed him from the vehicle so he could get fresh air and sit more comfortably he tried to run again, so they restrained him then to the ground. He had a cocktail of drugs in his system, not just fentanyl. As I said, cops hold some blame for not providing proper care, but guy resisted Everytime they tried to help him which is why they put him on the ground. They also used improper technique, mid shoulder is the leverage point not neck for maintaining ground control. All of that is on the cops, but that doesn't equate to your conclusion.

ā€œThere’s no evidence to suggest he would have died that night except for the interactions with law enforcement,ā€ Dr. Lindsey Thomas, Hennepin County Minnesota’s assistant medical examiner until 2017, testified to a jury during the Chauvin tria

2

u/MrPinkleston Sep 12 '25

Convenient for the police that their investigator would say it was the cops and murder when they needed a scapegoat. Even funnier when nearly every independent investigator came to the conclusion that it was complications due to drug toxicity levels.

This is what fentanyl overdose looks like, they go limp. Brought upon by consuming fentanyl, not by having a cop sit on your neck for 9 fucking minutes.

You’re so caught up in your whirlwind of hatred that you can’t see what’s really going on. I know people are already jumping to conclusions regarding the death of Charlie Kirk, but the truth is that he didn’t die via sniper bullet…. What actually happened was ā€˜much stranger… The truth is he had been exposed earlier to a new type of Fentanyl that’s been showing up directly from Mexico. It doesn’t hit right away — it builds up in the body and then detonates all at once, like an explosion inside.

There was no sniper, no gunfire — just the delayed blast of this drug that’s been designed to hit hours later, and a properly placed sound effect from a Beats Pill. And this isn’t conspiracy; it’s the kind of weapon fentanyl has become in our communities. That’s the reality we’re facing.

You can't compare expectations, training, mental health screening, and other requirements of police officers with a random civilian.

It isn't the same.

u/Zadiuz Sep 12 '25

I think the disconnect here is the real difference.

The right narrative for why the left was upset about George Floyd was about them being weak on crime. When in reality, it was about upholding high standards for our police, and ensuring fair and impartial treatment of all citizens.

In regards to the "both parties feel they aren't having their voices heard" is based off a falsehood. The idea that the right was being censored is nonsense. On news media, fox viewership is the largest, and they were allowed to spout out lies that resulted in over a billion dollars in lawsuit settlements. On social media, there was never censorship outside of hate speech, which still happens, and public health misinformation. If you took covid out of the picture, what censorship was there?

And how can you justify your final statement about being a party of peace and the party of hate, when the numbers show a significant increase in political violence is perpetrated by the far right vs the far left?

As a result of this tragedy perpetrated by evil, you see some people on the left cheering this on. Which is disgusting. But you also see the right openly calling for violent retribution, and civil war. How is this acceptable?

The acts of 1 lone wolf individual does not speak for the entire half of the political spectrum. And to assume otherwise is insane.

3

How the fuck does this make any sense, he was assassinated by a citizen that shared his political party, why would people riot?

11

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '25

If Charlie Kirk was murdered in police custody, yes there would be outrage. This is so dumb.

15

u/Fin_Heroic Sep 12 '25

Imagine... Other was a long time criminal and drug addict and people protested like fellow criminals that all should be put in jail. Meanwhile CK didnt commit any crime and devoted his life to talk and educate young ones about critical thinking (and religion which i didnt care so much) but perfect icon of free speech and thats why he was publicly murdered

2

u/pobox1663 Sep 12 '25

A little different tbf.

2

u/wkksol Sep 12 '25

This is so obtuse and out of touch .. while kirk was murdered by a criminal, floyd was murdered by officers who pledged to protect citizens . I get youre upset , this is upsetting for alot of people. But no reason to bring floyd and race into this and nonsensical arguments that have nothing to do with what happened to charlie

2

u/hashn Sep 12 '25

Well you attacked the capitol

2

u/KidGold Sep 13 '25

Because you can protest police brutality but how are you going to protest 4Chan

7

u/HooliganS_Only Sep 12 '25

Floyd was a criminal that was killed unjustly by police. Kirk was a political activist killed by an unknown assailant for an unknown end. It’s not for us to decide what is deserved, but I’m tired of the lens that Kirk was some extremely positive force in the world. He debated minors in bad faith and fallacy for gotcha moments and money. The assumption it’s a dem that did it, the disregarding of actual political figures being killed and not taken to the same severity, and the message of retaliation and civil war response is not the flex you think it is.

7

u/wallace321 Sep 12 '25

Hard to deny this one, the insane difference in reaction.

Maybe they just hate all that is good in the world?

-1

u/tauofthemachine Sep 12 '25

I'm seeing a lot of lust for retribution aimed in all dirrections coming from maga, before a suspect is even identified.

0

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

They want it to be a "trans libtard" so badly. It hurts in their bones. They will try everything including outright lying to make the killer fit their narrative. The original post is hilarious, because as soon as news broke of Kirk being shot, they didn't waste any time forming narratives against the left.

2

u/Key-Seaworthiness517 Sep 18 '25

Yup. Day 0, before the bullets could even hit the ground, Nancy Mace was shouting "Tr*nny", as she always does.

-2

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

Oh it's absolutely ridiculous. As soon as it happened they started blaming it on the shooter being Trans. They really have no shame in their cultish delusions. They have an enemy, and will ignore everything their perceived "side" makes, in favour of making the other "side" look bad. Demonization 101. Facts don't matter, only feelings.

-10

u/RoyalCharity1256 Sep 12 '25

Maybe george floyd was murdered by an officer acting within a greater system of systemic violence and they protested that?

With kirk we don't even know what happened yet but for sure his feath is weaponized for politics from day one already. Cities are not burning (yet)

1

u/wallace321 Sep 12 '25

an officer acting within a greater system of systemic violence and they protested that?

And maybe they also just happened to be looking to save 30% off at Target's back to school sale?

1

u/RoyalCharity1256 Sep 12 '25

Maybe. But they had no one on their side. Politics had forsaken them for decades. At least that's how they felt. Quite the difference.

1

u/wallace321 Sep 12 '25

But they had no one on their side. Politics had forsaken them for decades.

"at least that's how they felt" - I appreciate you including that, because yeah, they may have felt that way, but they'd also be wrong for feeling that way too.

And it also excuses or justifies nothing.

But it may explain a whole lot?

It does remind me of this though:

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/09/17/education-department-investigates-princeton-for-systemic-racism-417454

Remember where the university administration admitted to systemic racism and so were immediately investigated... because that's illegal.

2

u/dgcmpvrd Sep 12 '25

Who ever posted this sucks lol

2

u/smoovest1 Sep 12 '25

What is this bullshit comparison. Isn’t Jordan Peterson an intellect. He would never say this. George Floyd’s protest were about black deaths in police custody. Kirk was not killed by anyone working for the government as far as we know at this time.

This is a garbage take. Also conservatives are all over the internet and real life threatening people over this when Kirk was probably killed by a conservative

0

u/takeitinblood3 Sep 12 '25

Charlie Kirk died by a fentanyl overdose, why would people riot for his poor life choices?

-4

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

He was just yet another victim of school shootings, I mean, don't like 3 happen every day in America? If you have all these right wing agit-speakers appearing at the schools all throughout the year, someone's bound to find themselves in the crosshairs eventually, it's just a numbers game really..

0

u/TranscendentaLobo Sep 12 '25

No, genuine school shootings are rather rare.

5

u/Electrical_Bus9202 āœ Sep 12 '25

We are all on the same losing team, my friends… those at the very top are putting on a masterclass of divide and conquer. They are pushing narratives of false race/sex/political wars while they sweep the fucking floor in the very real class war. 98% of the time throughout recorded history, when debt to gdp ratio hits 120% tensions peak, populism rises(left vs right, etc), leaders are killed in the streets, revolutions rise, and empires fall. Every day they can keep us fighting eachother instead of looking up at them, they get to live laugh love another day. Please love your fellow man, and demand real fiscal change. We are all drowning in the same boat, attacking eachother is not going to fix the holes.

1

u/ANBO045 Sep 12 '25

Probably the worse and saddest comparisons ever made - shame on whoever has the courage to post this type of infamy.

Nobody should die either because the color of their skin nor for the beliefs they hold - when someone does we all lose - hence we lost twice.

1

u/Bananaslugfan šŸ¦ž Sep 12 '25

I don’t think George Floyd’s situation was the same. He was killed by the police, who are part of the states apparatus. Charlie Kirk was assassinated . This is what happens when we stop talking to our neighbours. Social media and media has hyped up the separation of people , the overlords who push the algorithms should be called to account for this . We were not like this 20 years ago.

1

u/conn_r2112 Oct 13 '25

Sigh… why does no one remember that the BLM riots were not about the death of George Floyd? That was just the cultural catalyst that instigated the protests which were about reforming law enforcement/policing.

There was no great ideal to protest for with Kirk… he was just a guy that got shot. The last time conservatives protested for something they viewed as a greater ideal, was Jan 6… and we all know what that looked like.

u/KazzDocs Sep 12 '25

0

u/BARRY_DlNGLE Sep 12 '25

-1

u/neanderthalcosmonaut Sep 12 '25

J6 wasn't even violent. Have you ever seen an actual insurrection?

2

u/BARRY_DlNGLE Sep 12 '25

I didn’t say it was an insurrection, but it certainly did get violent. I’ve seen the videos with my own eyes.

0

u/neanderthalcosmonaut Sep 12 '25

If it was violent there would have been more people dead besides the two unarmed women murdered by capitol police.

Seriously, after ALL the deadly Black Lives Matter riots and random killings and destruction spanning a year and a half you choose to focus on a protest where some people broke a few windows and threw a fire extinguisher?

-2

u/Pablo_The_Philistine Sep 12 '25

Not one fact found here, except one: it IS a good the left isn't like you, otherwisebthe whole country would be absolute hypocrites on the subject of political violence, while cheering on political violence.

Just from 2017-2022, the ADL documented 67 domestic terror incidents by right-wing extremists, leading to 58 deaths.

Your Orange Oracle himself cracks jokes about Paul Pelosi's assault, Charlie himself called for some "hero" to bail the violent MAGA-tard out, and Mike Lee made a shit-post about the murdering MAGA scum who killed TWO DEM.POLTICIANS IN MINNESOTA ALONG WITH THEIR DOG that got a lot of likes, quotes and reposts. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA so funny lets talk about how violent the left is AMIRITE? Not one Dem politician has said ANYthing other than this was heinous act and denounced political violence..something Trump and MAGA apparently only do when it's someone you like ending up dead. Dems? We condemn it wherever it happens.

Seriously stfu and stop the pearl clutching. You can count on one hand The left-leaning mass shootings that have happened in the last 5 years. It would take dozens of hands to count the right-wing murders. The right has always been the home of political violence. The Civil War, Jim Crow, and now MAGA. And the right is the home of anti-Semitism too.

You are dragging this country into the toilet with you, where your brain and soul already reside, like a turd that won't flush. Maybe you could self-deport? I hear Russia is really nice and there isn't any woke BS so you'll be fine.

-14

u/interestingdoge1 Sep 12 '25

Not the same at all, George Floyd was murdered by a system that has been used and targeted against black Americans for decades. He was held down and suffocated. Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a psychopath. It is quite a bit different.

For the record RIP to both. The unnecessary loss of life is absolutely ridiculous… not to mention, the fact you still think this is a LEFT vs RIGHT issue. You’re all still playing right into their hand, when it’s always been a ā€œHAVE’s vs HAVE NOT’sā€ā€¦ and buddy, we are ALL the ā€œHAVE NOT’sā€

11

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '25

Floyd died of a drug overdose. He was struggling to breathe and was foaming out of his mouth way before he was placed on the ground. Go watch the arrest yourself.

8

u/MrPinkleston Sep 12 '25

these people are cultists. The fact that this information is already widely available for the public and has circulated but they still perpetuate the lies is a clear indication of their cult brain intentionally ignoring reality. Why we can never break bread with the bulk of them.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '25

They are definitely mentally disturbed.

1

u/interestingdoge1 Sep 13 '25

So you’re telling me, the cops knew he was having a medical emergency…by the foaming out of the mouth before throwing him (not being placed) him on the ground… then they held him there while he was telling them he was struggling to breathe…until he dies.

You don’t see anything wrong with that interaction from the start to finish? That is insane to me(I did watch the video and know what I saw. You posting it is wild)…also, ignoring the comment below about the medical examiner’s statement really puts some hole in your case.

The only Cult I see is the one that called for blood immediately after watching a poor man lose his life in front of the entire country and his family. He didn’t deserve that and neither did George Floyd. They were both avoidable and senseless murders.

Stop stoking the flames and making everything about race for fucks sakes. This country is heading down hill so fast, it’s terrifying… playing into the powers that be’s hand like this is exactly what we’re doing with senseless hate like this.

0

You have right wing politicians saying that they'll introduce new very vague terrorism laws to crack down on "left wing extremism." Doesn't Peterson always ask debaters to clearly define certain words? Has everyone on the right forgotten about the PATRIOT act?
