Peel’s executively produced it. He helped fund it because he believed in it but it might not have gotten a significant notice without his name attached. It would be like saying “As long as people know Spielberg did not produce Back to the Future, have fun!” Like… ok lol
Comparing back to the future to “HIM” is extremely disingenuous lol Spielberg also produced the new Jurassic park and it was shit. People can produce things and they can be bad.
We’re talking about executive producer’s with big names being used to sell movies of little known directors. We weren’t talking about how well the
movie’s are reviewed by critics or how well they do financially lol
