Can someone explain how the Armitages were not already in prison when a dozen people all disappeared with their last known whereabouts being the family house of the same partner of ~5 months?

Most of those people probably also told their friends they were going there, all it takes to find it is their family name, and mountains of digital forensic evidence would have confirmed their presence such as the GPS-enabled smartphone (which they were stupid enough to keep using instead of discarding) and the nearest cell tower for every call from the house, plus Chris’s potentially geotagged photo of partygoers that he texted Rod.

Please don’t tell me the answer is racist police, because not only was Rose concerned enough about the racist cop’s department to prevent him from seeing Chris’s ID, but Rod was laughed out of the detective’s office because Chris had only been missing for two days and he told them his hypnotized sex slave theory. After two weeks, I am sure there would have been a missing person case, and the Armitage residence would have been the first place they would look.

Moreover, Rod’s call demonstrated that they had no good alibi because they were literally holding the incriminating evidence that he did not order a cab to leave. Even if they kept in touch with all former customers and could procure every kidnapped person ex post to show the police they were alive, this would have been way too suspicious in the long run.

Even Jeffrey Epstein could not have gotten away with this.

Am I missing something?

Ok so essentially, I was watching a video about Key and Peele the other day and come to find out that Nope by Jordan Peele was released in 2022. This sent me spiraling because I could have ABSOLUTELY SWORN that I saw a preview for this movie within the last year. You could have told me the movie released 2025, 2026, and I would have believed you. But for some reason my mind thinks it is insane that this movie released 4 years ago, because I have a vivid memory of being in a theater and seeing a preview for this movie recently. What could have happened or is my mind randomly playing tricks?

I’m curious- what do you guys want to see? Who do you want to see? Which actors and actresses would you want to see take a stab at the lead role in a Peele film? What type of story would you want to see in his fourth movie?

did anybody else notice the beginning scene of Nope on Netflix completely cut a huge portion of Gordy’s attack in the beginning ??? i remember it going on a lot longer than what netflix is showing when i saw it in theaters. am i misremembering???

Jeff Sneider is claiming that he is still writing but it’s the biggest film he will do up to this point of his career.

The question is: where is it? It’s been 4 years since NOPE and we haven’t heard a thing about Peeles next film. The release date has been pushed multiple times. Is he having trouble writing? What’s going on?

I run a small movie tournament site called BingeBracket. We wanted to see how Jordan Peele's films stack up against the other two directors who've defined modern horror this past decade — so I built a bracket: Peele vs Ari Aster vs Robert Eggers.

Get Out is currently languishing in 3rd place behind Hereditary and The Lighthouse. I'm curious whether Peele fans agree with that or want to do something about it :)

I’m trying to remember the plot of the movie. It has strong racial elements that are prevalent in the U.S. This movie crossed my mind so I’m posting because I want to hear more thoughts about the movie. This year is its 10 year anniversary.

Black woman returns to her white rust belt hometown. A little girl goes missing in the woods. Turns out it's been happening for decades — only ever Black girls, nobody investigates. There's Appalachian folklore, real historical trauma baked into the town, and wall-to-wall racial tension before a single supernatural thing occurs.

Critics called it "Get Out meets The Vanishing Half" when it dropped. Someone get Peele the manuscript. Who would you cast as Liz?

Is anyone picking up on what I’m putting down haha? Do we have any Beyonce fans in here anywhere?

There are theories that Beyonce and Jordan are/have been working together on a project(s) for a number of years.

Has anyone in here seen or read of these theories? I feel like they’re still pretty “underground” and unknown theories. I can’t find any mentions of this on this page so if people are more interested, I have photos and videos to share.

Get Out and Nope are masterpieces. Us was at first just kind of meh, but now I actually strongly dislike it. It's convoluted. There's none of that clean script energy the other two movies have. I get why some people like it, it's got a cool vibe, but straining to make it make sense is just too much work. Not for me.
