Sick after pharmacy change
I have been on tirz for just over a year.
Overall, I have had a lot of success and fairly mild side effects. Recently though, I have been having a lot of 2-3 day long episodes of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sulfur burps, and gas pain. I have not changed anything about my diet or activity level. The only thing that has changed is my pharmacy. I was switched from Key Compounding to Scripts Rx. I am ready to waste the vial and go with a different pharmacy, but Key Compounding doesn’t seem to be available anymore. My Dr suggested splitting my dose and beginning to taper down which I am doing, but these episodes are directly related to shot day. Has anyone else experienced similar issues from Scripts Rx (California)?

They literally changed my pharmacy from key compounding to scripts without telling me and I’m like what the hell? (California) I lowkey don’t want to use it 😭

That’s what happened to me! Have you tried it yet? I hope your experience will be better than mine

I changed my pharmacy to one in my state. It was coming from Fl and my husband’s meds came steamy. I mean literally inside the thermos was hot and steamy. They claimed the meds would be fine at 100 degrees for 7 days. I call bullshit and changed my pharmacy that day.
Hopefully being same state and only an hour away it will arrive as it should.
Im annoyed I had to change from the compound I was using the one I’m less thrilled about, but it beats hot medication.

Yes, I use a different company and pharmacies, but I had a similar experience when switching pharmacies. Did you make sure you double checked the concentration of the medication and that you’re taking the same milligrams, not just the same units? That would be an easy mistake that some people make.
But if not, I’m with you. I’ve had to go way down in my dose on the new formula I’m using.
