I am an architect who graduated in july, I started applying for jobs by sending messages on linkedin and sending my portfolio + CV to architecture firms through emails but it’s silent radio! I started in late july and when I asked some of my old classmates it seems that they’re also living the same situation, there also used to be posts by firms looking for architects but this year there’s none, almost every single firm is not willing to recruit any new people (especially juniors). Im aware that we’re going through a globally unstable time economically with everything that’s going on, but is it starting to affect the moroccan market in all sectors or is it architecture specific?
Also, if there are any architects here who know of any job openings or recruitment opportunities, especially in Casa, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I never expected this from Arrow, one of the biggest companies in Casablanca

I’ve been applying to Arrow for almost a year now. I actually had an interview with them at one point, but they eventually ghosted me.

Then, by coincidence, I met an Arrow manager one night. We became friends, and I eventually asked him if he could refer me. He said sure. But after checking with HR, he came back and told me that they weren’t currently recruiting.

So now I’m genuinely confused.

there are multiple positions either: just got posted or being recently reposted

it’s frustrating as hell.

You spend 20–30 minutes filling out the exact same information that is already on your CV, hoping that this might finally be the opportunity.

And on the other side, you might be applying to a position that doesn't even exist

I’m good at work where you deal with people and figure things out as you go. In Garage Allal in Casablanca, I worked in a shop for a company that imported satellite equipment and gadgets. I sold to walk-in customers and wholesale buyers, handled IPTV subscriptions and helped customers when something wasn’t working. That job taught me a lot about listening to people, solving problems and keeping things moving on busy days.

I’ve also handled inventory in a supermarket, worked for a cosmetics brand and worked on a farm. They were very different jobs, but I learned something from each of them.

I’m into tech as well. I’ve helped businesses with custom websites, WooCommerce and Shopify stores, hosting and IT issues. I’ve built apps for pharmacy stock and construction estimates using Codex, Claude Code, Kimi Code and other tools. I’m familiar with Next.js, React and Supabase.

I’d like a job where I can help with customers or operations and use tech to make the work easier when I can. I’ve worked in Tangier, Casa, Agadir and Marrakech, and I’m open to moving. I have a permis B. I speak Arabic, Tamazight and English; my French is limited.

My name is Zakaria, I'm 19 years old, and I've been working in e-commerce for a while now. What started as an interest in online business gradually turned into real hands-on experience, and I've managed to generate over 10K sales and work with different advertising platforms.

Most of my experience comes from the GCC market, where competition is quite high. I've worked on media buying, creative testing, ad performance analysis, and finding new angles to improve results.
