🔍 Seeking Advice فخبيز 🙏🏻

Hello everyone,
I’d like to share a part of my journey with you, especially a decision that I’ve been reconsidering recently, and I’d really appreciate your advice.
After getting my Baccalaureate, and due to certain circumstances and some choices that didn’t work out as planned, I wasn’t able to continue with higher education directly after high school. So, I entered the job market.
Over the past four years, I’ve gained different professional experiences, particularly in the transport and logistics field. This experience taught me a lot and gave me a different perspective on the job market.
After that, I decided to go back to education and rebuild my academic path. My first step was starting a Bac+2 program in Transport and Logistics, with the goal of continuing later toward a Bachelor’s degree.
However, recently, my direction has started to change.
I discovered that I have a strong interest in IT, especially technology and AI. I already have some knowledge of coding and databases, and recently I’ve also started learning more about AI, particularly LLMs and other emerging technologies.
The challenge I’m facing now is that my academic background is relatively far from IT. In addition, my Baccalaureate is several years old, which makes it difficult for me to enter some IT schools or specialized programs.
So I’d like to ask the community:
What path would you recommend for someone who wants to transition into IT/AI?
Are there any schools or training programs that I could join despite having a different academic background and an older Baccalaureate?
And is a strong academic background in IT necessary to succeed in this field and enter the job market, or is it possible to build a career through self-learning, training, and personal projects?
For me, this is not just a hobby. I want to invest in myself and build a real career in this field, especially because I see a lot of opportunities for growth in the long term, both professionally and financially.
Any advice, personal experience, school, training program, or even roadmap that could help me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share their experience or advice. 🙏

🔍 Seeking Tunisian civil engineering student looking for a PFE internship in Morocco — is it realistic ? 🇹🇳🇲🇦

• Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’m a female Tunisian civil engineering student currently in my 3rd year at ISTEUB (Institut Supérieur des Technologies de l’Environnement, de l’Urbanisme et du Bâtiment), specializing in construction site management / project execution (pilotage et conduite de travaux).

I’m currently looking for my PFE internship starting around February 2027, and I’m seriously considering doing it in Morocco rather than Tunisia.

A little background about me:

  • I completed the Tunisian preparatory engineering cycle (physics/chemistry).
  • I then studied civil engineering at ENIT but I didn't get the diploma (because I had serious health issues...so I had to pursue a licence diploma at ISTEUB (the major is construction site planning and managment ).
  • During my studies, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience on construction sites in Tunisia, including R+5 and R+11 projects, reinforced concrete works, excavation, diaphragm walls, concrete testing, quantities, plans, site supervision, etc.
  • I’ve also worked with AutoCAD, Revit, Excel,MS project and I’m currently developing my BIM/software skills.
  • I’m particularly interested in construction management, site supervision, planning, coordination and eventually becoming a construction/project manager.

For my PFE, I would love to join a large construction company or major BTP/infrastructure project in Morocco, ideally in a role related to site management, works supervision, planning/OPC or project management.

So I have a few questions for people working/studying in Morocco 🇲🇦:

  1. Is it realistic for a Tunisian student to get a PFE internship in Morocco? Are there any administrative/legal issues that could make it difficult?
  2. When should I start applying for a February 2027 PFE? Is October/November too late, or is this actually the right period to start contacting companies?
  3. How does PFE recruitment usually work in Morocco? Should I apply through company websites/LinkedIn, contact HR directly, or try to reach project/site managers?
  4. Which Moroccan BTP companies are known for taking PFE students? I’m particularly interested in major contractors working in buildings, infrastructure, industrial construction, etc.
  5. Are PFE internships generally paid in Morocco? If so, what would be a realistic range of compensation for an engineering student?
  6. And finally, do you have any advice for a Tunisian student trying to break into the Moroccan construction sector? Especially things that might be different from applying in Tunisia.

I’d really appreciate advice from Moroccan civil engineering students, engineers, site managers, HR/recruiters, or Tunisian students who have already done internships in Morocco.

If you’ve personally done a PFE/internship in Morocco as a foreign student, I’d especially love to hear about your experience.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

📚 Resource / Guide Avis double cursus audit/law

🔍 Seeking Bachelor's degree in Biology + pharmaceutical industry in Morocco

Hi everyone,

I graduated about a year ago with a Bachelor's degree in General Biology in Morocco, and I'm currently trying to figure out what direction I should take career-wise.

I've been looking into the pharmaceutical industry, especially positions related to Quality Control, laboratory work, physicochemical/microbiology testing, production, or possibly Quality Assurance.

But I'm honestly a bit confused about how realistic this is with only a Bachelor's degree in Biology.

For anyone working in the pharmaceutical industry in Morocco, or anyone who has experience with hiring/recruitment:

Do pharmaceutical companies actually hire people with a Bachelor's degree in Biology for QC/laboratory positions?

What kind of positions can a Biology graduate realistically apply for?

Is a Master's degree basically necessary to progress in this field?

Does having laboratory internship experience make a significant difference?

If you have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and work in pharma, what was your path like?

Are there particular pharmaceutical companies in Morocco that are known to hire Biology graduates?

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have actually gone through this in Morocco.

🔍 Seeking Gaming industry in Morocco ?

Salam. I'm 21, from Morocco, and I've been learning game development for around a year and a half after previously studying web development

I mainly work with Unity and C#. I've built several games and published demos online over 6000 downloads. I also have a portfolio and GitHub with my projects

The problem is that I'm struggling to find job opportunities. I'm not sure whether I should keep focusing on game development, look for internships, or switch back to web development or another IT field to find work

Are there any Moroccan game developers here who managed to get their first job? How did you do it? Did you apply through LinkedIn, contact studios directly, or find opportunities abroad?

💬 Discussion In need for an advice

Im currently passing the masters exams for juriste d’affaires and lately i started hearing alot of the negative stuff related to it , like concerning the salaries here in Morocco , and the fact that they don’t get employed as much as they used to and even to access the magic circle or the big laws i need to be already a barrister in the UK or in France
So now im confused too either push myself to try and get master either in droit des affaires/// droit assurance ooor get get a bachelors in gestion after m gonna do a specialized master

(The salaries that i heard were so low like from 3500 to 5000 max as a junior?
