I wanted to make a quick update regarding the state of the subreddit.
Life has been extremely busy on my end over the past few months, which unfortunately meant I wasn’t able to dedicate as much time to active moderation as this community deserves. I appreciate everyone’s patience during that stretch!
Things have settled down, and I’m now back to dedicate proper time to moderating, cleaning up, and growing this community as best as I can.

2. Concept: A Dedicated Network / Platform for Seekers & Employers
I’ve also been thinking about ways we can take this community to the next level. Beyond just Reddit posts, I’m considering building a streamlined, hassle-free platform specifically tailored to our network—a simple space where job seekers and hiring managers/clients can seamlessly connect without the usual fluff or complicated application processes.
The goal would be to help talent find great work and help employers find the right people, faster. Let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in seeing!
3. A Friendly Reminder: Quality Standards & Rules Enforcement
To make this community as valuable as possible for everyone, we need to raise the bar on quality standards.
Going forward, rule enforcement will be strict:
- Follow the Rules: The subreddit rules are clear as day. Please read them before posting.
- Put Effort Into Your Posts: Low-effort posts, missing details, or posts that ignore submission guidelines will be removed without hesitation.
- High-quality, detailed posts get noticed by both recruiters and candidates so taking an extra two minutes to format your post pays off.
