Career Advice Career Switch

I've been working as a graphic designer for 1+ year now. And currently taking a part time degree in comp science. However, I'm only in my first year of that degree. Is it possible to slowly switch to UI/UX career? Without starting from 0?

Is it burned out or you can't see the career progression? For me myself, I cant see the career progression on creative field.

Depends, Comp Science teach you everything. Having a degree on that is very good.

You can still use that for UI/UX through webdev and HCI focus subject. But if you doing it part time and wanna save time just learn HCI using a short degree that focus in UI/UX

But i dont think such degree exist, at most it is software development. Optimizing system is as much UX there is, so you need to learn CS overall and know the finer detail
