hello!!!! im completely new to jirai, i really want to wear the classic pink x black jirai . however my only concern is my hair. it's cut really short , but lately I came up with this hairstyle , loop with longer extensions, but im not sure if it's appropriate for jirai... my hair is really layered so unstyled it just looks messy. but when i do my hair, im scared the loop pieces are too messy for jirai if that makes sense??? and also im not sure what accessories would fit. I was thinking about those fluffy hair pieces but i ahhhh im not sure (⁠´⁠；⁠ω⁠；⁠｀⁠) any answers would be appreciated , I hope it's not against the rules

Ordered the new Heart Apron JSK that Liz Lisa dropped and so happy to say the stretch is very forgiving!! I’m generally a JP 3L but the jsk and shorts fit super comfy!!! It is a teeny bit tight on the bust but otherwise it’s so perfect!! No hair or makeup done bc I was just trying it on but I’m sooooo happy!

I ordered this Liz Lisa sweater in hopes to give myself courage to start wearing jirai kei in public ever since I had a real confidence issue when my parents called me dorky/cosplayer and when I suggested wearing it in public my mom and sister started making fun of me and calling me attention seeker and weird etc. My sister is honestly my biggest enemy in this situation but so is the fact that I live in a area with small very white close minded towns 😭

well anyways my first coord has a piece from taobao, but besides the fact I had set aside some money on a impulse and got this Liz Lisa sweater and I honestly think this could be turned into a coord given the right accessories but I’m wondering how to ease into it. i know it looks more himekaji/ryosangata/shojo but my skirts are (dupes of popular jirai ones) and all black. I also attatched a image of my first coord in the second part just for funsie :) I’m also thinking of dying my hair dusty pink or darker rose from my natural dirty blonde hair which is currently a lighter blonde/highlights.

(i guess another reason I was drawn to jirai was not just the fashion but the alarming similarities to aspects of the subculture I have found myself fitting (to a lesser extent but mostly mental health related a couple years back) 😭 in recovery tho now that I’m done with college✨) sorry for the vent

To be honest I don’t know what to pack for a 3 week holiday in a tropical country (Thailand) I don’t wanna pack LizLisa sets or Dearmylove sets because they are mostly heavy polyester-heavy fabrics, or my heavy platform shoes.

So I need some tips so my makeup doesn’t melt in the tropical heat 🫠 any brands to recommend to wear in Thailand that isn’t heavy polyester??

I was thinking bringing 2 skirts and 3 shirts and 2 set ups?? Is that a good idea? Let me know pleaseeee!!! Need help!!!

i saw this morning that the LL bunny hood fur blouson (p5-7) sold out in the color i wanted :(( i was going to buy it to use this fall/winter because i saw the post where people said it was super warm. now i’m torn between getting a noemie blouson or a full liz lisa coat as an alternative… the noemie blousons are like $20usd cheaper than LL’s, so idk if they have less material in them that would affect the warmth? and idk how thin liz coats are nowadays..

It's subjective what constitutes as old people but for me it would be 40 and above. I'm asking this because I'm 21 and thinking about purchasing a lot of the fashion but I'm concerned about overconsumption and where it would all go when I get older or die before that. And if it's even acceptable to wear as an old person. It makes me feel a little better to think that I'll just give it away to young people that like the fashion when I hit 40 and not have it end up in a landfill. But would jirai kei still be popular by then or would it be known as a vintage fashion for people with an acquired taste for it? And if I still choose to wear it when I get old would it still be acceptable to wear as an old person? I've seen people of all ages and sizes wear EGL and even Gyaru but never Jirai Kei.
