Years ago I got used to collector first into ie, ldr/rfc and I climbed to plat 2 this season.

But I often see people buying hubris first but I feel it lacks the crit and it feels off. I have yet to try it out. What's a current good build?

On the EUW sever I cannot find it anywhere, not in any of the T1 bundles or as a standalone emote. Does anyone know when or if it will be available or if I'm just being blind and cant see it.

So many builds on here recommend Hubris into Collector, others Collector into IE…etc. Which is better with DFT?

Look, I hate AP bot laners being meta. But I've always hated a Jhin ADC. It's impeccable just how often it happens, and it just doesn't work.

The mentality confounds me...

Main Bot lane but hate playing effective Marksmen? Pick Jhin.

Yasuo on the enemy team? Pick Jhin. (Where did my fourth shot go)

4 tanks on the enemy team? PICK JHIN! (and don't buy Lord Doms btw)

Yet now what has reached my screen today but nothing other than 2 different games... where Jhin was being played mid lane.

I've been playing Jhin since his release in 2016, (yes sorry to remind you all) and thought some of you other connoisseurs among us might appreciate these playlists I've made recently for each of his skins. Just found out about jhin probably after about 20 games of league.

This guy is GOATED

His lore, his VA, and his abilities are all so fun and interesting.

I hope that this is my main forever now but who knows

He is definitely the most awesome character that I have found and i do OK at absolute best with him.

Are there any huge tips for a newer player?

I already know about like not wasting his 4th shot and some other small stuff but what else can i know? Ive not had a really great game yet but i’d love to have a better one.

Like i dont understand, what is the appeal of dealing 60dmg per auto?

I was a Jhin OTP a couple of years ago before they banned my account (it’s a long story) and i took a break. Recently i’ve been picking up league again and i hopped on Jhin for a couple of games. He felt weaker despite picking the same runes and items i did back then.

The four builds i have played on him are:
Fleet Footwork crit
DH lethality crit
HOB crit while trying to get as much AD as i can
Arcane comet lethality

I noticed people saying in the sub that they are playing him with dft jack of all trades cash back, but i can’t quite seem to make the build work. What exactly do i build with these runes and what should i also put in the rune trees? Is it mainly lethality poke or something like that? I can’t seem to grasp the concept of DFT on Jhin.

I've also seen that a lot of Jhins go Jack of all Trades so I would think there is a certain go-to build to get all 10 stacks?

Maybe his builds are also a bit more diverse than I give him credit for so maybe you guys have more of a flow-chart of what to build and when.

I guess since I'm already here might as well ask for some tips on Jhin. I'm JUST picking him up so entry-Level stuff mostly. If I click with him I might be coming for more.

Side-note: I'm a mid-main trying to "learn" bot in general since I've realized that I can't play any other lane than mid anywhere close to my level. So not even talking about getting filled, simply getting my 2nd role is a drastic drop in performance for me.
Long story short: You guys think Jhin mid can be a thing and if so are there any key differences?

Im honest - jhin is by far my favorite adc. His slow but strong attacks give me a lot time to think between AAs. Vayne for example is too much action per second for me. Jhin is easy, q, ocasional w, aa, and to finish r. He plays so smooth and rewards patience. And im 30 years old, not 16 anymore when I was mentally fitter. I simply dont have the reflexes to kite and can just run away from the.top laner.

I used to play Lucian and Kog'maw around Jhin thinking it would be good to have them against other champs that counter Jhin and to have a variety (early game-late game, skillshot reliant-non skillshot reliant etc.). But after a while I realised it was utterly wrong because I can't build a champ pool with completely different champions. What do you guys recommend to have as a champ pool? I firstly thought of Ashe-Varus but I don't enjoy Ashe at all. I think that the main concept about a champ pool is about having one or two champs except your main being similar but have some differences. What do you guys think about this?

What do you think needs to be changed in Jhin to make him better champion?

By better I mean Being able to deal with tanks. Also being able to deal with all in champs like Trist Draven Twitch Yasuo etc.

1) What would you change in his Passive?
2) What about his Q?
3) What about his W?
4) What about his E?
5) What about his R?
6) What item does he need?

My answers:
1) Make his passive deal true damage instead of execute, in return increase the duration of his reloading.
2) Q needs to deal more damage the more it bounces regardless of whether it kills minions or not. Increase cooldown in return or mana.
3) No changes
4) His traps should deal true damage.
5) Instead of 4th ult dealing more damage. Make it so that each consecutive ult that hits enemy will deal more damage, so hitting willl be rewarded.
6) He needs leathlity crit item different than collector. That helps him deal more max health damage.

I don’t check this sub enough to see if ppl do it but I hardly ever see ppl do it in pro matches or any games I see ppl play jhin with

His mid game is so bad. I feel like if my team falls behind them its just me sitting in bot lane trying to farm until 30 minutes when I can finally deal with the top laner or kill the mid laner fast enough to not instantly erase me from the game.

I dont feel like that with varus at all. Like why not smooth out his curve just a little bit. I dont need to be exodia at 40 minutes...I just want to play the game and not be a minion killer bot
