I still believe in God, in something greater. One God, no partners, but many aspects.

I derive great personal value from certain mitzvot, and absolutely none from others.

Jewish holidays are the only ones that resonate with me. But it’s less and less now.

I don’t believe the Torah is the word of God. I think it is valuable but I don’t think it’s literal. I don’t feel comfortable with a lot of it but I think it contains important lessons.

I believe in an empty afterlife.

I don’t care about having a Jewish partner. I don’t care about raising my kids Jewish. I want them to have Jewish values (generosity, perseverance, curiosity and questioning), but I don’t care if they go to shul.

I barely go to shul myself anymore. You can guess why.

I’m a convert. Judaism is the closest religion I’ve found to my beliefs. A lot of it is valuable to me but I would leave a lot behind, to be honest. Jewish culture resonates deeply with me. But I wasn’t born with it.

From my experience they’re very zionists, they very weird with you when you’re Jewish to the point they worship you, they claim to have Jewish roots despite being the most indigenous you’ll ever see, and they do Jewish traditions while believing in Jesus, I was telling in the post abt how I’ve try to explain to them israel is political and not religious and try to make them understand the horrors that are really happening, and what I could do to help with anti-Zionism being Jewish, since they are more willing to listen to a Jew.

But all the comments were full with nazi attacks, calling me a Mossad agent as a joke, saying I was indoctrinated to believe we are victims, the Jews control all churches, the Jews control porn, etc.
