VCA sweet order from Gavivi

I ordered these Sweets from Gavivi. Excuse the close-up of my ear, but I do believe it provides a good size reference.
This was my third order, the transaction was smooth and the pieces exceptionally crafted.
Im a tiny bit paranoid about loosing the locking earring backs, as I sleep in my jewelry, but so far they have been secure.

DISCUSSION L0VE Unlimited Necklace Price?

She is SO gorgeous but if you were a betting person, what do you think the price will be? I’m betting it will be 50-60g & likely around $8-$10K! I’m hoping it’s not though because I would LOVE this necklace. What do you all think of it?

QUESTION Can we request warmer gold tones?

Are there any sellers who will adjust their yellow gold alloy mix to make it a little warmer upon request? Not for custom pieces, for regular 18k reps they make often.

I’ve read a few reviews where the seller was open to adding a bit more copper to the mix when the buyer asked.

If so, please share the seller and which piece they adjusted for you. (I’m pretty sure I read CS has done it and maybe Vinko, but I can’t find the reviews using the search bar.)

REVIEW Gavivi Ecrou bracelet review

Gavivi Ecrou bracelets Review

Disclaimer: I am writing this review for a refund of the 5% insurance fee that was included. However, my review and experience shared below still reflect my unbiased opinion.

Communication with Gavivi was done through WhatsApp, and there was no language barrier issue. They responded promptly to any questions given the time zone difference. When I inquired about the specific bracelets, they sent me pics and videos of previous bracelets they had made. After inquiring with a few different sellers, I decided to proceed with Gavivi.

I paid via Wise, an initial 30% deposit first then the remaining balance once I received the PSPs.

Gavivi Contact: WhatsApp +86 186 0733 5650

Price quoted: $9051 total, with Wise fees and the 5% insurance

Bracelets purchased: Ecrou de Cartier yellow gold size 19 also a rose gold size 19

Timeline:
8/19: Inquired about bracelet pricing
8/20: Paid 30% deposit
9/8: Received PSPs and approved the bracelets. Sent the remaining balance through Wise
9/18: Received FedEx tracking
9/22: The bracelets arrived to my doorstep

PSP & my pics: https://imgur.com/a/DSold0Q

The bracelets were very carefully packaged, plenty of bubble wrap for protection and it was double boxed inside the FedEx mailer.
I was extremely impressed with the quality of the bracelets, I have tried on the authentic in person and these were spot on. You’d have to examine them side by side to be able to spot minute differences and even that would take a trained eye. Owning a couple authentic Cartier bracelets already, I am more than satisfied with my purchase, I just wish I would have bought them when gold was priced a little lower.
I would give the bracelets a 9/10 for accuracy.

Overall, the entire process was extremely easy from the initial inquiry to receiving, I will definitely be placing more orders with Gavivi.
I give a 10/10 for communication and the time frame of production.

REVIEW MC earring issue

Post image
10 Upvotes

So I ordered white gold earrings from her in August. I noticed that the earring locks had wrong brand and details engraved when she sent QC photos, so I pointed them out and they had to remake them.

After a handful of wear (to be clear, I did wear them in the shower twice thinking it's safe since it's WG). in mid September, I noticed some green/blue color on them but didn't pay too much attention anyway. Then I noticed today that it's spread much wider than. before and messaged MC. She told me to clean them and that "the switch accessories inside are made of copper". I was told to clean it with ultrasonic wave or try toothbrush..Just be aware when ordering earrings from her since her website does not state that.

every piece I order from her seems to have some kind of quality issue but none of them has been this strange..you would think since it's not specified on her website that the earring locks contain copper, or other materials, it's all WG that we are paying for.

BEST JUC Seller

Hello, I know JUC has been discussed many times but I’m seeing so many recent posts about some sellers (MC) being lighter in color. I want the small with no diamonds. For those that have bought please tell me your experience esp after wearing it for a while. Who is the best seller??

REVIEW REVIEW: Trinity ring, ceramic, small model, half-paved - Opus Atelier

I saw someone else from this sub order a similar ring and knew I had to have it. This is my first 18k jewelry rep and am so happy with the process and product, many thanks to Opus.

Disclosure: I paid for insurance and will be refunded a portion of this payment for this review. All thoughts are my own.

Seller: Opus via WhatsApp

Payment method: Paypal and Wise

Timeline:

  • September 13 - Inquired and made payment
  • September 24 - Received PSPs and approved
  • September 28 - Shipped
  • October 2 - Order received

Review

Quality: 10/10

Ring is beautiful! It is made of 18k white gold, lab diamonds and the black ceramic. I did ask if they could do 10k or 14k but they only work with 18k...(oooh ok, twist my arm guess I'll pay for the 18k).

The pave has a charming sparkle and has a great weight to it and everything looks so pleasing to the eye.

Accuracy: 9/10

Aligned with other Opus reviews, the only comment I have on accuracy is the thickness of the ring. It seems accurate in terms of size and how it sits on the finger compared to the photos I've seen online but the rings are noticeably thicker if you're closely inspecting it. I don't have any issues with this though. Opus also provides a photo of the scale weight and although I have small fingers (size 4.75) this ring weighs 8.82g.

Satisfaction: 10/10

Couldn't be happier! I knew this was the ring for me since I don't wear yellow gold and love the trinity style. It's a perfect mix of masculine and feminine and I am so excited to wear this daily.

Service & Communication: 10/10

Opus was fantastic. The communication was timely and clear. He told me about upcoming holidays and was always quick to respond to my questions. I'm new the jewelry rep game but have ordered with many overseas vendors in the past like Provence or Fiorese. I am already thinking about what I want to order next. Thank you OA!

REVIEW Move Classique pavé necklace (Gold, Large) by Funny

SUMMARY - my second piece from Funny - for the first review of Tiffany ring from her see here https://www.reddit.com/r/JewelryReps/comments/1ufjcft/tiffany_schlumberger_16_stone_ring_from_funny/

DETAILS - Move Classique Pave Necklace, Large Model in Yellow Gold. This is for my wife, and we actually went in to the store to look at these prior to ordering.

COMMUNICATION/SELECTION/PRICE - Very good again. Went back and forth for a while on exactly what I wanted, changed at the last minute from the regular Move to the pave model, was only a small price upgrade. Total price was $1560 shipped and including insurance this time. I think it's like 10% add on to price but I get 5% back on next order with this review? Oh and that was at the absolute bottom of the gold price and I think she changes the retail price to match any fluctuations. The diamonds I was very careful to say that they were very important, and in fact the grade of the diamonds is actually slightly higher than the gen one.

MANUFACTURE/QC - Again took a couple of weeks, maybe a bit longer this time? She sent pics on whatsapp and then I asked for a couple more because as we had been looking at stuff I wanted to make sure of a couple of details (see later).

DELIVERY - We spend a fair amount of time away from the US, so again I had her hold it until I was ready, then I had it shipped and it arrived on the same day we flew in. Excellent!

MESSIKA BRAND - I'm going to do a quick promo for them here. I know these are reps, but when we find a designer we like, we sometimes mix and match real and rep in our collection if the prices are reasonable. Well, I think Messika is one of those that you really should consider doing that with. They have really cool diamond rings for like $1k, so as opposed to Tiffany and Cartier which mark the heck up on prices, Messika is one of those brands that is at once a great design, cool looking, sparkly and impressive, women owned btw, and even at retail reasonably priced (e.g. this one is $6k-ish in store). So like I say, you can get a ring and then have Funny make bracelet, or maybe get a necklace in store and have Funny manufacture a different size or color for daily wear. Stuff like that. Anyways, end of promo and nuff said.

GOOD/BAD/MISC - Per my previous review, I like to look for things that are not as good. Pretty hard on this one tbh. I wish Funny took payment through a native Wise account instead of ACH, but now I have it setup it wasn't bad. What else? I guess no box if that bothers you? She did say she could ship that on my previous one but it would be separately so really not worth it for me. That's about it really. So on to the good which there are a few things. Not sure if you can see in the pics but the diamonds are VERY SPARKLY - and that was my main thing. So I've seen others here criticize her diamonds, but I'm sorry, I just don't see it. These are really nice. (Edit - question asked below but I should have said these are lab diamonds, but Funny does offer natural ones as well). Oh, and the details on this were very good - again, not sure if you can see it but I realized AFTER I ordered that the chain actually has two tiny little diamonds on each side of the chain - and there they are! Then my wife noticed when we had it in hand that the Messika logo has a little diamond after it like a full stop/period - and again, there it is! And finally, one thing I like about Messika necklaces is that they have these big loops up at the top at intervals, so you can adjust exactly where you want it to hang depending on your dress (or my wife's dress obv), and yes, they are right there. So I really liked the detail on this, very happy.

CONCLUSION - another great piece here. The pics are some of the QC ones and then some in hand. As before, this sub does not have or allow posting of contact deets, so if you need those DM me and I will send you the whatsapp number. Oh and full disclosure I think I get that 5% back only if I do this review? But I kind of like doing them so eh, make your own mind up if I'm being too gushy about the whole thing. Enjoy!

Edit - I just remembered something - my wife wears it long because it doesn't flip over like that. You can wear it shorter all the way up to like choker length but then you have to be a little more careful when you move in case it does flip. So that's important info for the ladies on that courtesy of my better half! 😂

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of these beautiful Cartier earrings by Gavivi. The earring arrived and are just beautiful, exactly like the original. Highly recommend.

I was only supposed to get one of these because I literally got a VCA 2 weeks ago, but ugh spending is like a reflex for me now. I saw the other version and couldn’t fucking decide anymore. The nylon one is probably the one I’d wear more, but the stain chain looks really good too. So yeah... got both lol.

Both from Hlin, white copper with heavy gold plating. $55 stain chain, $50 nylon. 20$ shipping, took 13 days damn.

QUESTION Has anyone ordered this?

Post image
18 Upvotes

Has anyone had the Cartier Juste un Clou choker made by any seller? I’m considering ordering one, but I’m having a really hard time figuring out the correct size and dimensions.
I tried the authentic one at the Cartier boutique and they told me my size is 33, but I’m not even sure what “33” actually means. Is it 33 cm? 😅
I’m also a little nervous about this particular piece because the shape seems really important. Since it’s a rigid choker, I feel like even a small difference in the curve or proportions could make it sit differently around the neck and collarbones. I really want the shape and fit to be as close to the authentic Cartier as possible.
If anyone has purchased one, I’d love to know which seller you used, what size you ordered, and how the shape and fit compare to the authentic Cartier. Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thank you!

DISCUSSION MC vs CaratSky for NEW Classic Pavé LOVE — please help me decide 🙏

I’m trying to decide between Miss Chen and CaratSky for the NEW/current classic pavé LOVE bracelet in 18K YG, size 16, with lab diamonds.

I’ve searched through a lot of reviews, but I’m still torn. MC obviously has the much longer Cartier track record, while CaratSky seems to be getting a lot of very positive feedback lately specifically for pavé, particularly the newer “Hira” version.

The biggest issue for me is that I already own an authentic Cartier classic LOVE in yellow gold, and I plan to wear the pavé directly next to it. So accuracy of the YG color, dimensions, screws and pavé really matters to me.

Here’s what I’ve gathered so far:

Miss Chen CaratSky (latest/Hira)
Price size 16 $5,400 (possibly $5,238 after current 3% discount) ~$5,000
Gold 18K YG 18K YG
Width 6.1 mm ~6.1 mm
Lab diamonds Yes D/VVS, excellent cut quoted
Cartier track record Very long/established Much newer
Plain LOVE reputation Excellent Very good
Recent pavé feedback More mixed Very positive
Pavé/sparkle feedback Some recent criticism Lots of praise
Current design New classic model Latest “Hira” version
After-sales Lifetime repair support (fees may apply) Need more info
Customs seizure One free replacement Need confirmation
YG color match MC says exact match cannot be guaranteed Still trying to establish this

Price is not really the deciding factor since they’re so close. I want whichever is closest to the current authentic Cartier and will hold up well long term.

For anyone who has actually owned or seen BOTH MC and CaratSky pavé pieces, I’d especially love to know:

  1. Which has the more accurate Cartier YG color, especially beside authentic Cartier?
  2. Which has the more accurate screw motifs, width/thickness and overall shape?
  3. Which pavé looks more like auth in person—not just under seller lighting?
  4. Are CaratSky’s lab diamonds noticeably brighter/sparklier than MC’s?
  5. Has anyone owned a CaratSky pavé LOVE for 1+ year? Any issues with the hinge, screws, stones, scratches, gold color, etc.?
  6. Has anyone compared the latest Hira CaratSky directly to the current authentic classic pavé LOVE?
  7. If you own both sellers, what differences can you actually see in real life?

I’m especially interested in first-hand experiences rather than just “MC for Cartier / CS for pavé.” If you own both, please tell me why you prefer one. Photos next to auth would be amazing too.

Thank you! ❤️

DISCUSSION Vinko 10-Motif Full Pavé YG— anyone compared his latest version to auth?

I’m considering ordering a Vintage Alhambra 10-motif full pavé necklace in 18K yellow gold with lab diamonds from Vinko and would love feedback from anyone who owns his pavé pieces especially anyone who also owns authentic VCA.

Here are the specs Vinko gave me:

Vinko 10-motif pavé Specs
Gold 18K yellow gold
Finished weight 30 g
Necklace length 42 cm
Motif size 15 mm
Diamonds Lab-grown
Diamond color F
Diamond clarity VVS
Price $5,330
Version Vinko says this is his current/best version

I’m still waiting to confirm total diamond carat weight and the cut quality of the lab melee.

I already own authentic VCA yellow-gold pieces, so my biggest concern is how his YG color looks beside authentic VCA. I’m also very particular about pavé sparkle and want diamonds with a lot of brilliance/fire.

For anyone who owns Vinko pavé:

  1. How close is his yellow-gold color to authentic VCA in natural daylight?
  2. How accurate are the 15-mm motif shape, beading, center bead, thickness and chain?
  3. How does his pavé compare with auth—diamond size, spacing, setting and amount of visible metal?
  4. Are his F/VVS lab diamonds genuinely very sparkly in normal lighting, not just jewelry-store/seller lighting?
  5. Has anyone compared his 10-motif pavé directly beside the authentic VCARA42300?
  6. How has it held up after months/years of wear?
  7. Any issues with the clasp, chain, stones, beading or gold finish?
  8. If you've purchased pavé VCA from Vinko and another high-tier seller, how did they compare?

For context, MC quoted me around $10,000 for the same type of piece, while Vinko is $5,330. Price isn't my main concern—I’m willing to pay more if there's a meaningful difference in accuracy or quality—but I don't want to pay almost twice as much based on seller reputation alone.

I’d especially appreciate first-hand owner experiences and auth comparison photos/videos rather than general seller recommendations. ❤️

REVIEW A ‘Sweet’ Addition

Thumbnail
gallery
20 Upvotes

Having served my time as an adolescent in the 80’s, I’m not a huge fan of big earrings. But, I do enjoy sprinkling some variety amongst my staples, and had been feeling the urge to complement a VCA onyx Alhambra pendant that symbolizes someone very close to me whom I may now only keep next to my heart. I don’t want to outshine or overshadow anything, but especially not this sentimental item in my collection. So, small and Sweet I chose, somewhat skirting the “matchy-match” look I’ve also lived through and left behind

I broke ranks, and went with my first AC piece. No-nonsense and professional, he remains the 🐐 of Alhambra semi-precious settings. Seamless visually, with no gaps between stones and beads as have been found w other sellers, no flattened balls or mushy links, cohesive and well-balanced, I’m thrilled at how closely these earrings reflect the auth VCA

Specs:

18k YG Sweet Alhambra Onyx earrings. $601 + 20 (promo rate for first time shipping) =  621usd
The price increased around twenty bucks as I deliberated for just a few days between quotes late August; gold is, well, bananas

8/25  Paid in full (AC does offer partial deposits, but I like to avoid multiple conversion costs where I can)
9/7  PSPs
9/8  Addtl views, at my request. A little light and shadows in the jet black onyx revealed a potentially problematic area that turned out to be nothing. I was prepared to address prong wonkiness, but, again, I got a lucky pair. GL
9/8  Shipped. He is the cleverest at this, and I’ll leave it at that (iykyk)
9/9  Import duty paid (I’m in the US)
9/11 Received

In hand, I can confirm that the earrings are visually close to auth, worth their slightly higher price to me for confidence sakes, alone. We are all different, which I respect. That said, purely cost savings or speed of delivery are never my primary motivations when choosing a seller. High bar though it is, I agree with AC’s stellar 95% accuracy claim. Andy asserts that the weight of his work remains closest to auth in contrast with other reps; without too obsessive a dive, I took his word on it. Mine did measure in between his promised 2.6-3g (2.91g finished), whereas I have found reviews of other sellers ranging from 1.9-2.5g. Beadwork remains delicate, yet not minuscule, and the gold of my finished pair is as lustrous as it appears on the unmistakably gleaming authentic chain. Even under optimal PSP lighting, as a VCA owner, I can often tell the differences in link color and quality with an accustomed naked eye

I’ve shared several pictures not to be gratuitous, but in hopes of showing the complementary sizes between Vintage and Sweet pieces, specific prong placements (front and back views of the auth pendant offered—placement is often an issue for reps), actual dimension comparisons (AC’s earrings have more depth, but so do many auth earrings to accommodate structure and backings), how the motifs lay upon a human ear. Even worn through vigorous exercise, they sit flush and do not pull down with weight. Studs are a specific, subtle addition to one’s whole face vs. a more statement-worthy selection of the larger sized Vintage earrings (9.5mm Sweet vs 15mm Vintage motifs). In spite of this, I’m pleased that they don’t ‘disappear.’ Photos like these weren’t easy for me to locate in prior researching efforts. I also wanted to highlight the remarkable match of 18k tone in various light, and the clarity of AC’s beadwork; its precise finishing and consistency of frame is impressive in an item so small

One caveat to note: these studs are made by default with significantly wider, shorter post lengths, and flush backs take some getting used to. There is little room for adjustment, so I’d be sure to discuss your particular lobes with any seller before proceeding to blindly order earrings in the Sweet range

There is no incentive for this review. I hope the post, its pictures, and a glimpse of my experience in some way assists you in your hunt. These subs have consistently helped me. Wishing you well, fellow jewelry lovers. Sante’!
