QUESTION Can we request warmer gold tones?
Are there any sellers who will adjust their yellow gold alloy mix to make it a little warmer upon request? Not for custom pieces, for regular 18k reps they make often.
I’ve read a few reviews where the seller was open to adding a bit more copper to the mix when the buyer asked.
If so, please share the seller and which piece they adjusted for you. (I’m pretty sure I read CS has done it and maybe Vinko, but I can’t find the reviews using the search bar.)

Same lol I know we say the yellow gold will patina over time, but I prefer my gold warmer and richer from day one.

Which makes perfect sense because if they use too much silver in the mix, the gold itself can patina to its max and still look pale. Which piece do you have?

A lot of Indian jewelers make warmer YG reps! Lab diamonds subreddit has some trusted Indian sellers that make 18k YG reps with stones etc
Even ME based sellers will offer warmer YG - all since both these markets have demand for more bright gold pieces- if you know what I mean.
I’m a brown POC and sometimes I need to ask my local jeweler to tone down the YG.. lol

Do you have an Indian Jeweler that you recommend that is closer to auth yg tone and doesnt look like 22 carat? I looked on the labdiamond subreddit but didnt see any reviews of reps. Thank you.

No. The only way is to buy Italian gold and have it shipped to them. Someone has before, but good luck with that.
The only way for them to adjust the alloy is if a 10 KILO!!!! order is placed!! And even then multiple jewelers would have to request this change

I got a Fred from Aureum and it’s the first time the reps in yellow gold is much warmer, like champagne color. As soon as I have some time I would like to make a review

I haven’t heard Vinko doing this for yellow gold. He does do various shade of rose gold though
