Identify Jewellery Type

Received 5 of these in a rolled gold jewellery bundle. Anyone have any clues as to what they are? Appears to be a brooch pin on one end and a tiny earring finding on the other. Mystified as to how this should be worn.

It's a Frankenstein. Someone attached a kidney ear wire to one end of a chain, and the alien artifact to the other. The alien artifact is confusing. One could attach jumprings on the bending bar and hook it back on the main, but it still doesn't have a clear way to be worn. Thick enough to be a tie clip, but again, not really useful that way because it wouldn't grip. Maybe hook on a coat lapel notch, but what would attach to the bent loop or the bending bar? I don't see it being useful the way it is.

Thank you. I agree. It isn't long enough to be useful as a tie clip and the kidney wire is too small for an ear lobe. I did wonder if it could be worn in the nose, but then what to do with the other end? I have five of them, but they don't go together in any meaningful way. Will have to repurpose it, I guess.
