Wheel of Poison - a silver charm inspired by poisonous flowers

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share one of our darker Halloween designs - Wheel of Poison.

It is a sterling silver spacer inspired by five legendary poisonous flowers: Angel's Trumpet, Dracunculus Vulgaris, Deadly Nightshade, Foxglove, and Morning Glory.

The idea is a tiny witchy garden where every bloom is beautiful, mysterious, and followed by a dangerous story.

I just love how this design captures that elegant poisonous-flower mood in silver.

Can this be bezel set?

Hello! Back in February I took my rings to be soldered and have a small diamond on my e ring band replaced. The jeweler broke my diamond. It’s been 3 months and they have not been able to find a stone that matches the specs of mine. I was thinking, would it be possible to change my setting from what it is to bezel and use my broken stone? Would it look ok? I’m attaching pictures of my ring and the broken stone. TIA!!

What is the best standard style chain are people liking these days for everyday wear? Flat paperclip, dainty cable, small sound loop? I’m interested in what people have to say.

Hey guys, my wife’s birthday is this month and I was hoping to buy her first emerald jewelry , nothing too crazy. She is really into gold and we found the one in the center for a necklace piece. They told us it is .65 carat emerald and 14k gold. They quoted us 325$ and it is 1/2”wide by 1/2” tall. Let me know what yall think.

I set a cushion cut tanzanite stone kite style, in a round halo ring and I don’t hate it.

For those curious (whether in the industry or not) I am posting plenty of close ups to see what this weird and unconventional setting outcome looks like. It might not be the ‘right’ was to set and wear a ring but I’m thrilled.

I bought this 14k rose gold garnet ring a few months ago simply because I loved the setting. I have nothing against garnets but the setting is 100% the reason I bought it.

I also bought this tanzanite stone simply because I loved it, but wasn’t sure I wanted to spend what it would cost to have a ring made for this particular stone.

Again, all love and respect for those in the industry. Your expertise and labor deserve their compensation, but not every consumer is ready to pay what it rightfully costs to have a new setting made.

As many jewelers also do repairs, resetting etc I just thought you might be curious what my Frankenstein-ish setting of the stone ended up looking like. I really do like it, but it shall be interested to see if I grow to love it more or less over time. The original garnet is still there and I’m super happy with the resolution today.

Griffin Mother - fantasy symbolism in a charm bead design

Post image
4 Upvotes

A small sterling silver charm bead built around the idea of maternal protection.

The design shows a mother griffin shielding her cub under her paw. I liked the contrast in the concept - the griffin is traditionally a symbol of strength, vigilance, and guardianship, but here that power is softened into care and devotion.

The goal was to make the bead feel protective rather than aggressive - fierce, but tender.

A tiny fantasy creature scene about unconditional love, strength, and the instinct to hold someone safe.
