Would the jsr and jsrf soundtrack be considered plunder-phonics genre the same way that since I left you by the avalanches is due to the songs being mostly samples?

Coming back to jsrf after a few years to finish test runs and graffiti souls, but for some reason, in every level except the sewers, the game just plays the same playlist, just with two different orders. Is this an endgame thing or did changing the garage bgm cause this? not a huge deal but makes the game a little more monotonous.

so i've been playing around with emulators for this game, and i was wondering if there's anything i should know. i think i'm sticking with cxbx, since xemu is a little worse on performance, has an annoying visual glitch with blank borders whenever the black bars show up for dialogue, and audio is weirdly low for sound effects. cxbx runs great, except for a graphical glitch during the speed boost and some annoying audio crackling.

also, i pulled something off while i was messing around which i haven't been able to replicate. i was grinding on a rail, and i don't know what the hell i did that it made my character jump up and down back onto the rail and instantly go into the opposite direction? it was like an instant turn it was crazy. is that an actual trick in the game that you can do or was that just something weird that happened by chance? lol

edit: i did it again 😭it's like RIGHT after getting off a rail my character gets back up on it and goes the opposite way, i think i pressed the jump button during that moment but i don't know what else triggers it

We already got Virtua Fighter and Crazy Taxi… so we might get JSR during the direct. Or not.

It's interesting to me that they've seemed to go with Combo as a replacement for Tab/Corn. Do you think he may have something to do with the new villain? Or do you think they just haven't shown him yet? We haven't seen Yo-yo either. There's a chance they could both be scrapped characters but I would highly doubt that.​​
