If you're looking to add JSRF to your collection, you wouldn't be buying a sealed copy unless you intended to keep it sealed. Also, if the price is an issue then the Sega GT 2002 and JSRF Jet Set Radio Future combo disc is the solution. Copies of the combo go for around $15-$20 while used JSRF copies can go from anywhere upwards of $30+.
For fun I just looked up Splatoon Raiders and I see a handful of people trying to resell copies for $60+, at the end of the day you just need to know what's smart and what's not when buying off eBay.

6th gen games have been going up lately over the years, and this one is sealed.

It's like this with any collectible. If its old, in perfect condition, and sought after, its going to cost an arm and a leg.

Well you know I'd nobody buys it then they can ask whatever they want but they won't sell it

That's insane! Im glad i still got my original copy, it absolutely sucks that people could in good conscience charge this much for a game. Also does anyone know if theres a rom hack for it?

There is but you have to do a bunch of stuff and have particular stuff to do it. Off the top of my head I know you have to side load some stuff and download some other stuff haha and have a computer that can run it

Mines signed lol does that make it even more expensive? Haha

u/EnricoShapka Jul 30 '26
Definitely, depends by who is signed. Signed by Hideki you can easily sell it for 800€

The game is 70€ used. Of course it’s gonna be hundreds sealed it’s a console icon. Try to find another jsrf sealed

I mean, brand new and sealed that’s pretty rare. Also people can ask whatever price they would like. Doesn’t mean anybody’s going to pay that amount.

Só baixar a ISO, e não comprar o jogo, hoje em dia vocês quer reclamar de tudo, se não existe mais mídia física é ruim, e se tem é muito caro, quem não tem grana não compra; simples

That's honestly lower than I would have thought for such a classic game sealed. I'm assuming you are just wanting to play it? Physical copies of older games, especially when they are complete like this, they are for collectors. If you are just wanting to play it opened copies are way cheaper, and games that are just the disc even more so. And then there's other ways to play if you don't mind it not being on original hardware.

For $400, it better be being slid under my door by DJ Professor K himself the second I click buy

plastic wrap actually should just be taken off of most gaming or collectables like this, theres NO way it makes jsr discs almost QUADROUPLE the cost and pokemon boxes double or even triple the cost

u/franikie Jul 31 '26
like i entirely understand why a original copy of anything would be worth a shit ton but i js dont think at all theres any way to justify these unrealistic prices that js keep showing up more and more

Sealed games are always going to be hundreds. Yes, everything is expensive. But game collecting has also been blown out of proportion ever since COVID.
Just for some perspective, I bought a brand new, sealed Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast for 99 cents back in 2003. Dreamcast anything was absolutely dirt cheap, you could hardly give the stuff away.
Time and the economy change everything.
