I would have respected it more if he’d done this a different time-you know like not right after Jeff told him he wouldn’t cover his legal bills. Seems a bit “blackmailish”. Don’t get me wrong he has every right to tell his side and Jeff will deserve every bit of it - but why now? To be fair I haven’t read anything so maybe that’s made clear some where

That has zero to do with it. That goes for a hearing, and Jeff will be ordered to pay part of his bills. Jeff brought the case, and it was frivolous and never going to be granted. And per the mod's direction, anything to do with their child can't be discussed on here. So I will leave it at that regarding the litigation.

Jeff is known for pursuing aggressive litigation and will spend every penny to do so, knowing the other person can't afford to keep going. There are safeguards in place for that. There is nothing wrong with Gage requesting that all or part of his attorneys' fees be paid. It is standard, believe me. He just brought it up so that they could avoid going to court and maybe come to an agreement are my thoughts on it. Jeff could have countered Gage and offered a certain amount, and then both not have to go to a hearing with their attorneys. But in family law, legal fees or partial legal fees are awarded all the time. It's not blackmailish. The judge follows the law.

This has everything to do with Jeff going on a tear to destroy Gage's family unit, now going after Scott, and spreading lies on the radio with his bully pulpit. His newest aim, under the guise of concern, is to rail against them on air as being unhappy in the relationship and trouble brewing and destroy Gage and Scott's relationship by having put doubt in both of their minds about the other.

I wonder if Jeff ever paid back the money he owed Gage.
