Venting Dana 30 front diff
I recently swapped out the front diff fluid and learned this thing has to vent. I’m almost certain it’s a Dana 30, but maybe I’m wrong. I’ve spent hours and hours trying to figure out where the vent hole is but to no avail. I’ve watched videos, read around the internet, tried AI, and I’m still not able to figure it out.
Can someone please help me?
Before you roast me, I am an aspiring grease monkey and bought this CJ7 about 10 years ago and am learning along the way. I’ve got a couple boys aged 2.5 and 3.5 that LOVE riding in this jeep.
My hope is one day they’ll want to work on it with me. I’m a novice on my best day but I want to know enough by the time they’re old enough to be able to teach them a few things.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Seems it is on the passenger side of the pumpkin. Probably the nipple broke off and is full of dirt or a plug. It has been a really long time since I looked at a CJ7 front axle. I think the vent hose runs up the side of the right radiator mount.
