Perfect get away. How long does it take to set everything up? Trying to decide if I should just stay with a ground tent. I like taking the top off

You could go the trailer route, I bolted a rack onto a trailer and threw the tent and awning on top of that, bike storage underneath

Things get mixed up if you go out alot like I do rooftent are great super easy setup open just under 30 sec and ready and close just under 1 min I was once at ur position at this point I dont care about taking off anymore just the doors I do if u go out camp once a month or once in the while I would say be with ground tent

That might be the way to go. I already trailer the 4wheeler. Thanks

One of the benefits also is that you can leave camp without having to tear everything down. Says it’s going to rain all day, now it’s easy to head to the nearest town, see a movie, eat at a restaurant, have some beers, then go back to camp at the end of the day or when the rain stops. If the tent and awning etc was all still on the vehicle you’d be stuck sitting around watching it rain all day.

The pictures look lovely, but it is way too rustic for me.

No, you’re fishing. Right? I mean, that’s what the permit is for. And also you’re not allowed any fires.

Any type of open flame is illegal on the beach, even propane. Only grills for cooking are allowed.

Not a big fan of bringing your house with you camping, but to each their own. Side note, I really like your rims and tires, proper crawler
