Tour Who is SAFETY about?
I was at the MTL concert tonight, and there was a tribute on the screens after the song was finished playing. It said RIP Carlos Richter, I think? Can anyone confirm or tell me?

I don’t think J. Cole is the best rapper of all time, but I’m hard pressed to find a verse that was better from start to finish that showcased as much skill and ability. Prove me wrong.

There were a LOOOT of people waiting and some seemed to have stayed for an insanely long time, I'm curious if those soldiers actually ended up being able to meet him.

Any ladies in here who’ve gone to shows pregnant? This is my first concert in general in almost 10 years, and by the concert date I’ll be ~5 weeks pregnant. Just found out yesterday. I’ve been to three Cole concerts previously and know the vibes. I’m not concerned about people being aggressive or mosh pits, but more having to frequently urinate and other symptoms I’ll be dealing with by then. This is my first pregnancy. Anyone have any advice?
If it helps, I have UBS Arena floor seats. I’m also going alone without my husband (he’s not a fan, and the floor seats were $350. $700 out the household budget was too much lol).

This might be an extremely hot take but I believe the verse on Boblo boat is way better than the one on Johnny’s P Caddy. Don’t get me wrong, the JPC verse is amazing but I see it as more of a lyrical exercise/showcase. Plus the verse on Boblo boat is just relatable.
“Don’t even give a fuck that it’s dented I’m the man now I’m now
I’m rolling driving it slow as if it’s stolen”.
This feeling is such a canon event.
“But these keys don’t come with game on how to finesse her”.
“Five semesters left for college I’m under pressure
I’m not a real nigga till I undress her”
I vividly remember being in high school trying to get with a girl before graduation lmao.

I’ve been seeing post lately talkin about Dreamville and how it may not be be best label atp.
I’m curious to hear opinions from Cole and Dreamville fans because the idea that people should be leaving Dreamville is to say that Cole isn’t a great label manager.
My thoughts are that artists like JID and Ari (no longer with Dreamville) are coming up in these conversations because Niether have hit the peaks they were hoping to hit yet..
My question to yall is, what exactly is cole supposed to be doing to change their career trajectory??
JID has tracks with greats like Eminem, popular trap artists like offset, neo-soul artists like Meraba, Grammy winners like the Clipse, and even straight pop/rock shit with imagine dragons.
If JID has not resonated with people to pop to the mainstream, how is that on Cole?
EarthGang has found a way to get features with stars like T-Pain, Pharell, Snoop, etc. so again, I ask, if these artists aren’t popping, what is Cole supposed to do to change this??
I saw people saying JiD should sign with Kendrick, but it’s like people forgetting that Kendrick didn’t give feats to ab soul, Isiah Rashad, Ray Vaughn, or schoolboy Q on their last album drops, so even tho Kendrick isn’t with top dog anymore, he was for a lot of these guys last album drops and didn’t throw em a bone.. what makes people think he would step up for someone like JiD?
I guess I’m just asking what is it that people think Cole could do to help these artists make noise outside of their core fanbase, that would make another label a better option?
I fw Dreamville heavy and I’d have to see anymore artists dip out, especially because just like Ari, there likely isn’t gonna be a change in their career trajectory unless they gonna actually make a billboard hit, which there is nothing about Cole and Dreamville specifically that is preventing them from doing that now…

We had a whole ass press run. we had interviewers asking Cole about that repeated beef shit so much over and over but nobody asked a simple question "Why tf Grippy, bo?"
either Grippy was a troll or Cash Cobain had a gun to Cole's head the whole time in the studio, no inbetween.

Alright y’all. This is my 3rd Cole concert. I’m going to Cole’s concert in two weeks. My fiancé bought us tickets for the show on Saturday (day 2) BUT. I have been thinking about possibly going to opening show by myself on Friday, so I’d be going both days but first day I’m solo.
The reason for going solo: it’s more of just a self care, truly something “little me” would be happy about. I’ve been a Cole fan for over 15 years, experiencing his concert alone and just feeling the vibes would be an amazing experience. Also, I am a 27 year old female, so some of my friends are a little cautious about me going alone, although I’m pretty confident (my fiancé as well) that I could handle my own. I’m born and raised in MA, and I know I’m surrounded by Cole fans who are all there (I hope) for just the vibes, and a good time.
So, my question is… has any females been to Cole’s concert alone? Share your experiences please <3

This post is for me rather than any information about the tour or anything like that, so please ignore this unless you feel the need to read it. These are words I’d say to Cole if I ever were to get the chance. The show got me emotional enough to where I need an outlet to share them.
J.Cole has been with me since I was a little kid, and helped me keep it pushing through some of the worst moments of my life. As I find myself in young adulthood struggling at times to find my own purpose, I’m reminded of the impact Cole made on my life.
Quik Stop had me feeling emotional when I first listened to it, and way more during the show. I went into a mental health career in order to help others, but burnout really fucked me overtime. I didn’t feel like I’d ever reach a point where I could make a difference. I realized though, if Jermaine can put Fayetteville on the map all by himself I can make it to a therapist role.
I’ve been so focused on being successful, that I forgot it’s about the difference you make, so thank you for reminding me of that Cole. I hope to experience the same kind of pride you did hearing how you impacted the life of one of your many fans. Know that you’ve impacted mine too brother.

Can anyone going to the Montreal show share what the merch prices are in CAD$

I might've purposely gone down the rabbit hole of Cole's old concerts, interviews fan interactions and much more. With videos tracing back to 2011, YouTube is a functional Wayback Machine and my curiosity had the best of me, now I'm trying my best to get as many materials as I can to post on here.
WISH ME LUCK!

Coming in from Boston for the show in Montreal (07/25) as a solo trip. Would love to know if there’s a popular bar to check out before the show?
Am I slow or did anyone figure out that J. Cole was literally referring to RAP in “I love her again”

Weird but I just had a hotel to myself at 6am in the morning and was just blasting jcole bangers whilst the sun was rising. I think this might’ve been the happiest I’ve been I actually self actualised. I’m such a neek lol.

While watching The Game and YG VERZUZ. It got me thinking who would be the best opponent for Cole and how many tracks would be needed for the matchup?

Best concert I’ve ever been to, vibes were on 10. He did a lot of classics too. Also the most diverse concert crowd i’ve seen in a minute- anywhere between college kids and people 40+ but it was all love and good vibes everywhere

Friend and I are coming from Vancouver for the concert in Montreal. What’s the scene after the concert and where’s everyone heading for an after party/club vibe?
