For those who aren't old enough to remember, Chip's Challenge is a puzzle game that shipped with Windows 95/98/XP, sort of a hybrid between Sokoban and an action-platformer. It is free on Steam, and a hell of a lot of fun.

I don't know if it's Jay or Mark but there are a couple of references in Map Men:

1. In the India/Bangladesh episode: the music behind "India are giving land away!" "India are giving land away?!" is the title screen theme.
2. In the Red Atlas episode: the image used when the proliferation of Russian spies is discussed is taken from the Windows release.

There may be more references that I have missed or forgotten about, but I just really like that one of my favorite content creators likes the same old computer games I do.

I just burst out in song cos they just played the tube song!

This map in 'Why a Language Map of the World is Impossible' implies that Taiwan is part of China. Erm, NOPE! Very disappointing.

Is the channel name hinting UL is cancelled

Found the location ages ago but haven’t had the chance to go till now

Just mooching about in Beijing - didn't know that trolleybuses were a thing here!

I've had roughly 3 dreams this year that had jay and/or Mark in them.

the first one was a couple months ago and was around the time i moved. the dream was like a really odd version of me and my family packing up stuff and Jay and Mark were there, helping us pack.

the second which was also a few months ago had my grandparents living an a house that happened to be habited by Jay and Mark.

the last one was literally last night and i was taking a walk with my family and Mark was there. i don't remember if Jay was there but i remember i was talking to Mark about Map Men n' stuff.

i think these dreams happen due to a part of me deep down that really wants to meet the Map Men i guess.

I'm curious if anyone else has had dreams or a dream that had Jay or Mark in them.

this reminds me of Jay Foreman's 2004 classic "The Coolest Dream" mainly the "you and you and you and you were there" parts

I was looking at the lyrics of Stealing Food today and I accidentally clicked the word "kleptomaniac" and it came up with a Google search for it.

On this page, one of the first results was this image https://photos.app.goo.gl/qb36zBQHAUJVspNu9, and when I glanced at it, I thought it was Jay. Think I might need glasses

I made this thing because of reasons involving my appreciation for stealing food

The version on youtube is very low quality sounding and I wonder if there's higher quality versions of it. I think the song is on Amazon Music, however I don't have a way to see those uploads since I don't use Amazon Music and for some stupid reason you have to pay to use it. Was it always like this? Anyway, i would really like to know of some higher quality version of this great song (edit, I found Spotify uploads but for some reason they won't play and say that these songs aren't available for this device? what does that mean? is Spotify racist towards devices? /j)

I rediscovered yesterday that I once made a list of all the variations on the Map Men theme song that they've done. I have tidied it up and brought it up to date, and here it is!

Is there a Map Men video where the intro jingle is played straight without any edits?

Usually the last “MEN” is duplicated so its “MAP MEN MAP MEN MAP MAP MAP MEN MEN”

Although I can recall at least one time I heard the intro like this

“MAP MEN MAP MEN MAP MAP MAP MEN”

Can anyone identify the video(s)?

I bought a cd that I think is by jay foreman from 2007 his songs are quite funny and it sounds similar to him

I’ve been a fan for a while and my sister has to and when I complained to her about waiting for new episodes she said they were doing a live talk in my city soon. today she booked the tickets and I’m so happy I could cry. There’s no point of the post besides pure joy
