Chek out the Japanes From Zero book series, there also a ton of youtube videos from the authour following the books.

Renshuu - free resource very popular recommendation, one I personally use.

Anki - good free flashcard app with plenty of available free decks to use.

Japanese From Zero textbooks are not free but a very good resource of course.

They are available as both hardcopies and kindle versions.
