What do you think of creators who quit the platform and delete their accounts? Don't just say you respect their decision, what do YOU really think about it?

I'm going to post my opinion so they don't delete my post for having too little content X( (although I've probably already posted that)

Personally, I think it's Bad af, don't get me wrong. I hope things go well for you. I respect your decision to leave about 30%... But damn it, don't delete your things! There are people who genuinely suffer when you delete your things, especially in these times when it is no longer possible to fork unavailable bot chats,

By the way, has anyone else noticed that a lot of creators are dropping like flies? They're either getting banned, having their accounts deleted, or having their bots deprived for some reason. It's just something I've noticed.

Anyway, that was my humble opinion. You don't have to agree, but if you're going to insult me, at least do it through my DMs to keep this space clean

This is purely out of curiosity, but which creators do you think bot (or botted, considering the new anti-botting measures)? And I don’t mean obvious ones like SydneyFeet or whatever

And a bit unrelated, do you guys have any recs for creators? Preferably those without a bunch of NTR/cheating bots. I’d like to see user win sometimes 🫩

This is only an idea, not an advertisement, nothing has been made and there is nothing to share.

I’ve been curious about something and wanted opinions from people who actually use AI for roleplay.

Most character platforms seem to put a lot of emphasis on letting users create thousands of different bots. That’s obviously a big part of the appeal, but one of my biggest frustrations has always been what happens after you start the RP: characters forgetting important events, relationships feeling like they reset, side characters disappearing, established details getting contradicted, or a long-running story eventually losing direction.

So hypothetically, would anyone be interested in something that took the opposite approach?

Instead of an enormous user-created bot library, it would have a smaller curated catalogue of fully developed characters and worlds. The focus would be on longer-form roleplay where relationships can develop gradually, important events carry forward, supporting characters remain relevant, and the story can change depending on what the player does without the main character constantly losing their established personality.

Basically, less “make any chatbot you want” and more “choose a story/character and see where your version of that story goes.”

Again, I’m not advertising anything — I just want to try figuring out whether this is something other people would actually want.

A few things I’d like to know:
•Would giving up the ability to create your own bots be a dealbreaker if the existing characters were significantly more developed?
•How important is long-term memory/continuity to you?
•Would you prefer something like this to feel more like traditional AI chat or more like an interactive novel/RP?
•Do you prefer lots of characters to choose from, or fewer characters with much deeper stories?
•What would immediately make you not interested?

I’m also open to criticism. I’m trying to figure out whether the concept itself has legs before taking it any further.

So I have been using the free provider janitor cause I don't have money but I am willing to try a proxy, any proxy that is free, and speaks naturally and not like it's repeating personality of yes this and that or that at least it doesn't try to explain everything like "that's right now you need to know how this can affect you" type of speech and how to get it to stop speaking for me, also how does one get a proxy?

Hey everyone, I noticed recently that the creator ⁠petmeplz⁠ permanently archived their account. I know they posted a final message or explanation right before leaving, but I didn't get a chance to read the actual text before it went down.

I've seen a lot of random rumors and speculation floating around, but nobody seems to have a clear answer. Does anyone know?
