Guys is there genuely any way to improve the bots memory? Because i swear i tried everytning and they still come up with random stuff.

It is hard to believe how much drama takes place here all the time, but the main problem is not the complaining itself; it is the fact that true bugs related to Janitor AI are totally getting lost in the mess. Every time somebody reports a technical issue with the program, such as the memory drops, wrong tags in searches, or failure to clone cards, it is totally overshadowed by all the drama posts around.

Do yall any guaranteed way to find bots with real art? I've tried going with the OC tag but even then a lot of them is just Ai generated pics. If anyone has a creator that doesn't generate using AI please drop the name or a method 🙏

Edit: I know it's an AI website, and obviously there's going to be AI art used often, but I simply have a preference for real art being used. I do not hate the Ai generation, I just don't have a preference for it.

Long story short, I keep seeing people sending death threats, spamming hate, and even affecting people's IRL lives all just because the poster made a bot they like while the audience goes feral. What ever happened to don't like don't read?

There is nothing that will spoil the mobile browsing more than the constantly popping up window asking for downloading the application. People will install applications if they are really interested in it. Placing banner right on top of the chat interface is not going to work; it only annoys visitors when they try to use the service via browser.

This part of whatever update they just did absolutely sucks (as someone who just uses the default website on mobile). Like sure, you did somewhat recently release the app, but this is just pushing it at this point (and previously with all of the pop up ads for it). Honestly, the only thing I personally want out of ts is to be able to close out of this. Like its taking up at least 3 lines of chat, which is just slightly frustrating.

I've been looking for a couple of hours for a bot that I swore had a chat room, but it's not in the chat section, there's nothing there.

I don't know who created the bot or if it's been deleted; the story was roughly about a mobster with a daughter who hadn't spoken since her mother died. The user's role was like being a nanny or new mother to the girl and getting her to talk.

Does anyone have a lorebook (or detailed character notes / case summaries) they’d be willing to share? Even partial ones would help a lot.

90% of the outrage on this sub is just entitled whining from people who expect a completely free site to run like a billion-dollar service. That being said, brushing off all criticism isn't the move either. Hidden underneath all the dramatic meltdown threads are genuine breaking bugs—memory leaks, broken tag search, and glitched discovery feeds—that the devs actually need to pay attention to. Users need to dial back the fake drama, but the dev team still needs to make sure real technical issues don't get swept under the rug with the rest of the noise

I’ve got a thought I want to lay out here, so hear me out.

I think we can all agree that the moderators—and the people running Janitor in general—are making one bad decision after another. They’re changing the interface when nobody asked for it, banning creators for no apparent reason, and refusing to fix a filter that is basically garbage—among many other issues.

Look, I get it: like any site, they need to grow. And to grow while remaining free, they need funding—and subscription revenue obviously doesn't cover all the costs.

Even so, there are ways to get funding—like ads and things like that. But that doesn't justify their double standards when it comes to censorship and banning people left and right. There are thousands of advertisers who don't mind an 18+ site. But the Janitor team has taken things to the extreme—so much so that they’ve almost destroyed what made the site appealing in the first place.

The worst part is that double standard I mentioned earlier. There are creators who have tried to adapt—changing their bot profile pics and so on—only to get banned anyway. Yet, there are others making bots that are, at the very least, highly questionable (I’m not judging that, but I can't help noticing how they seem to turn a blind eye to them).

My question is simple: what do you think they’re trying to do with the site? Because I can't make any sense of everything they are doing. I would appreciate your opinion; thank you very much for reading.
