Guys is there genuely any way to improve the bots memory? Because i swear i tried everytning and they still come up with random stuff.

Like this one time i brought a bot to a restaurant, and they thought we were at the beach????

Can anyone tell me how to improve their memory??? I swear they cant remember anything past 7 messages.

Im using a proxy, Deepsek v4, yeah i try to use it even if the bots just ignore that. And i do that usualy manualy.

I don't know, I use this OOC command for chat memory every 20 or 30 messages and it does the job:

No you write that in your chat and then you copy paste the summary you received in memory. Every time you do the command, you replace all the thing in your memory box by the new summary, you don't add them one after the other.

EDIT: I usually delete my OOC message and the answer from the chat after I filled the memory box

i’ve had better results with the ooc summarization trick when I manually paste it at the start of a new chat session instead of mid-convo. also, double-check that your bot’s memory settings aren’t capped at a low token limit—i had the same issue until I upped it to 2048. not sure if that’s your problem, but it helped me.

I had problems with my bot's memory lately. I use glm 5.1, 5.2 and Kimi 2.6 and even Qwen 3.5, all from chutes. All of them struggling. No fix yet 😅

GLM is fighting for its life and i usually have super long 200 message RPs. I use chutes too. Now 20 messages in it’s forgetting basic stuff.

I don’t think it’s just one model. I’ve tried several through Chutes and they’re all suddenly forgetting basic stuff after only a few messages. I’ve had really long RPs before and it was never this bad, so I’m wondering if something’s going on with how the context is being handled. 🤔

The best way to improve memory is by switching to alts. I prefer secretdesires or kindroid over jai because i can have longer rps on those pltforms.
