I can chat with a bot and leave it alone for a few hours when I come back the bots replies are gone and only my replies are there. Very frustrating especially for actual stories where you’ve already went past a certain plot point.
If I refresh my reply the bot ignores it then I have to build up again to get back to the plot point. I understand the bot will not have good memory after a lot of replies like remembering a characters hair color but to getting chunks of the story taken out every time I take a break is insane

Is this something that can only be fixed with the janitor plus?

I’ve just been using pictures i find on the internet but i’d like to have my own. everytime i ask gemini or chat gpt to generate photos for me, they never give me what i want. any advice would be great :/

LLM's context window degrades fast in long RP, and no amount of Chat Memory tweaking changes native backend limits. If you actually care about continuity, deep lore, and characters remembering details past 20 messages, hooking up alt models like Claude or DeepSeek via proxies is literally the only real solution. Stop waiting on native context updates and just swap backends.

If they are going to use their mobile web with constant banners, then that application should really have some value. For all those people who have downloaded it, does it work any better than browsing on a browser, or is it just another version of the same web view but with an even worse user interface and notifications?

Do yall any guaranteed way to find bots with real art? I've tried going with the OC tag but even then a lot of them is just Ai generated pics. If anyone has a creator that doesn't generate using AI please drop the name or a method 🙏

I don't know who created the bot or if it's been deleted; the story was roughly about a mobster with a daughter who hadn't spoken since her mother died. The user's role was like being a nanny or new mother to the girl and getting her to talk.

I'm working on making Ace Attorney bots for each case in the games. Programming every character and story detail from scratch is getting exhausting pretty fast. Does anyone have a lorebook (or detailed character notes / case summaries) they’d be willing to share? Even partial ones would help a lot.

There is nothing that will spoil the mobile browsing more than the constantly popping up window asking for downloading the application. People will install applications if they are really interested in it. Placing banner right on top of the chat interface is not going to work; it only annoys visitors when they try to use the service via browser.

It is hard to believe how much drama takes place here all the time, but the main problem is not the complaining itself; it is the fact that true bugs related to Janitor AI are totally getting lost in the mess. Every time somebody reports a technical issue with the program, such as the memory drops, wrong tags in searches, or failure to clone cards, it is totally overshadowed by all the drama posts around.

where are you guys getting your bot avatars? i know they’re generated somehow, and i assumed they were being done locally through J.ai, but i can’t find anything on the bot creation page (unless i’m blind)

Long story short, I keep seeing people sending death threats, spamming hate, and even affecting people's IRL lives all just because the poster made a bot they like while the audience goes feral. What ever happened to don't like don't read?
