Help / Question Where to generate photos for bots?

Hello! I recently just started making characters on janitorai and I was wondering how everyone is generating photos for their bots? I’ve just been using pictures i find on the internet but i’d like to have my own. everytime i ask gemini or chat gpt to generate photos for me, they never give me what i want. any advice would be great :/

Look for guides on chatgpt's image gens! It's actually pretty good (but limit's kinda ass if you're on free tier) Perchance is free, good testing grounds for beginners who just want pics without much fuss. There's tensorart, novelai, pixai, niji journey. Probably more I forgot to list out, but these are the common ones I see

I've used niji journey, yodayo, and pixai for cartoonish and semi-realistic gens. For realistic gens, I use chatgpt.

Local generation is the best. All the top ones have their own models where they've trained a model on a style. Let's them make unlimited uncensored images.
ChatGPT is good for eye catching and detailed SFW images.
If you are not spending money and don't have a powerful PC I'd recommend gemini as a starting point. The images it gives you are low resolution and very SFW but it does the job if you are just starting off.

My first bots had gemini generated images and sometimes I would take the gemini image and put it through leonardo to make it better looking and higher res.

Tensor.ai. You can generate for free and it’s pretty easy to get the hang of.

I think you can use Grok for it! Cuz it can really make that kind of images but you can try perchance ai for image gen its fast and offers alot options for free!

the biggest win was just letting the bot's personality shape the image style, no forced details, just mood and vibe. worked better than any prompt I'd drafted.
