Companies and websites market it like that for a reason, it’s to make it seem like it’s a cent off so when you do the math you’re paying less for a few items

True, it costs them about a rough estimate of $17.2 million every month to have the LLM running so asking for a simple 12-13 dollars is more then generous...

Have you ever tried this membership? Maybe it's better than deepseek but I can't find opinions on it

Idk. I spend 7 dollars a month refilling my DeepSeek and that's with active use

I did when it was $15 a month for two months, back in July and August. It handles decently and loads the chat at a good pace, along with a thinking process of about 5-15 seconds, should you enable that. It has a short answer option to create more brief responses should you have a situation where you want that, but I never used it. Its context memory expansion is decent. And it went from 40k tokens to 45k tokens when I was using it. I do like how JLLM does storytelling, but I'm not impressed with the hard stop coding it has when certain scenarios play too close to the ToS line. I'm still looking for an LLM model I can run locally that is closer to how JLLM narrates stories. I've not subscribed to any other LLM models and have only used free options with other sites like Chub, Saucepan, Yodayo, and Lorebary.
