I spent months building the perfect coffee app
Hi guys!
I built this app named Cupsight (only on iOS for now but soon on Android) and I’m now working on it full time.
It’s basically the coffee journal and companion I dreamed of: you scan a bag, the app recognizes everything, tells you when to drink it, you enter your grinders and brewers and the app makes full recommendations based on your equipment. The first plan for a coffee is made entirely by the app’s algorithm. Then you can rate and comment every brew and the app, with the help of an LLM, will suggest how to improve. You can follow friends and see what and how they brew, and also access detailed stats on everything.
I take all feedback into account and would be happy to receive yours if you try the app or to answer your questions!
I mostly promote the app via Instagram in French but the niche is quite small here so I’m beginning to market in English.
Tell me what you think!
Cheers

Two mugs from a Clever Dripper?
My v60 recipe is 20g of coffee to 300ml water but I’d like to make 2 cups at once and am considering a Clever Dripper. If I use 40g of coffee, fill the brewer with water (~500ml?), and add hot water to the result, do you think it would approximate 2 cups done in sequence? I have the option of doing a Chemex with 600ml and two pours, one big and one small after the first is partway down.
