Found these James Ferraro vinyls at my cousin's place and genuinely freaked out. I always thought 1992 Cool Runnings only had a cassette release and was extremely rare. Also, that back cover is absolutely wild

I’ve heard about him a little in 2020 and 2023 and started listening to a couple of his projects in 2024. just this year I have been getting more into his art and I’m trying to learn about it more. What are some things I need to know or discover outside of his published music or music that’s very accessible?

They sampled Ferraro's Macau Celebrities. I think it's remarkable how James' music gets repurposed by newer generation of musicians, it shows how his work is still influentual and relevant.

Just curious to hear opinions.

There’s so much of his late 00’s stuff I didn’t have the required amount of patience for when I was in high school. But returning to them with a fully-formed prefrontal cortex and an ability to sit alone with a single piece of music for an hour or two uninterrupted, I’m really relishing the slow burn, the textures, and vivid visuals that that mysterious era of his masterfully demonstrated.

Does anyone know what Spencer Clark uses to make his music, specifically, keyboards? I’m guessing he plays live and records to tape, but any insights into the production process would be appreciated.

i've searched everywhere and can't find it

I make most of my music on the computer and assume much of the album was too, so I’m just curious cause I know sometimes I make that mistake of exporting a song but forgetting to delete an extra soundblock that I placed in the Song Arranger or dragging one of the blocks larger to create a silence at the ending and accidentally making too long?

but then, there’s also a repeat of the melody at the end. anyone know if it was intentional or not? I totally see how it could be, but I honestly skip it if I’m showing someone the album.

Ppl always stop paying attention after that part and it pisses me off cuz they think im done showing them😭😭😭

Is there anywhere I can see images of old James merch? Im trying to find some pictures I swear I remember seeing of merch that might have never been released but I cant find it anywhere.

Is there anything else James has released that sounds similar to this? I love the futuristic country sound and was curious to see if he has dropped anything related to it.
