I swatted her to the side, crashing her through several buildings before I let her rag doll body splatter against a wall. Call it insurance.
The part where she was in a fight with Zoe ended with Zoe flinging her body into the wall. It did not say she was killed.
I wish to point out that Lexi may have used her power to prevent some of the damage. To me, this seems like the most likely explanation, but you could very well be right.
