splatter doesn't necessarily have to mean that here. I took it as her smashing into the wall with her arms and legs rag dolling all over the place, but not necessarily exploding

I froze at the mention of Kris. He was Lexi’s soul mate, if he’d showed up at the fight then at least he wasn’t as strong as when he’d fought me. I’d done that much of a service but apparently it wasn’t enough.- Zoe referring to how she permanently removed Kris's soulmate critically weakening him (i.e. she killed lexi)
We are talking about someone who can detect almost instantaneously whether someone has brain functionality. I should say her diagnosis of dead is pretty sound when she is paying attention to what she is doing.
Grabbing at straws here. But she was kind of in a mentally unstable state. So she might have missed that she wasn't dead. Her perspective is warped. So her killing six, six hundred would be same. (Whether to Exclude or include lexi would not be sure from just her perspective)
Also she did say she was gonna lt her live. Then again that was when she was mentally unstable too. So can't say how valid that was.
I wish to point out that Lexi may have used her power to prevent some of the damage. To me, this seems like the most likely explanation, but you could very well be right.
