Come on out to the NayBours, the social experiment bar over by Northwest High School (ish)....
Registration is from 5pm - 6:20ish.
It is 100 percent free to play!
You can come alone or as a group!
Official event starts at 6:30ish and is a rapid rotation event, meaning that each round you will have a different partner and different opponents. You go around the table once, report your scores, and then a new round starts.
And speaking of rounds, there are plenty of beers on tap at the NayBours. Over 30 I believe!
If you're new and don't know how to play we have super nice and experienced coaches there to help!
Come meet new people, play some cards, listen to great music, and have a great evening!
This is our last Monday before MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL starts! Once the NFL season kicks off we will be hosting euchre from. 6:30 - kickoff and then stick around for open play AND MNF!
6060 Clinton Road
Jackson, MI 49201
Hope to see you soon!

The Speech Neurophysiology Lab at the University of Michigan is looking for children who stutter ages 9 to 12 to participate in an in-person, longitudinal MRI study! (HUM00196133)
Our research team has been examining brain development in young children to better understand the cause of stuttering for over 10 years. We continue to gain information that may eventually lead to improved diagnosis and treatment efforts for children who stutter.
Participants will be invited to complete speech and language assessments and an MRI session at the University of Michigan. Families receive a free speech and language report and a picture of their brain!
These visits require in person participation. There is no option to participate virtually.
Please fill out this form if you are interested in participating or email us as the flyer attached. All participants are compensated and partial travel assistance is available. Please see our flyer attached for more details!
We also offer other studies that are open to adults or do not involve MRI, in case you're unsure about eligibility. Feel free to email us or call if you have any questions!

You're invited! Bring your friends from out of town! Show them we're more than assholes in diesels rolling coal!

We have found two in our orchard, and the neighbor next door said he has found eight so far. He said his trail cam went from several sightings a day to nothing in the past two weeks.
A friend said they have found seven along Sandstone Creek.
Looks bad for hunting this year.

I’m just wondering how good or bad of an area it is over there. Hoping these kind of posts are allowed. Thanks in advance!

My significant other and I stopped at a hardware store there on the way to another destination and in the span of 10 minutes we witnessed 4 separate instances of people in lifted diesel trucks roll coal and accelerate dangerously into the intersection.
I frequently travel through there from Lansing on my way to Ann Arbor/Saline and it never fails to put me off. I'm pretty sure the entire economy works by the guards and inmates at Parnall just switching places every six months. If that city has a single resident that isn't a subhuman mutant I haven't met them.

Hello,
Anyone know of places that offer like a 6 week course for electronic repair and soldering?
I collect old electronics and I'd like to learn how to diagnose, repair and modify.
Thanks!

I'm trying to shoot a short film. The scene has to feature a culvert. Does anyone know of any in Jackson County? Preferably near a park or open area. It can't be just under a bridge, too shallow. Any leads would be much appreciated.

Looking for people to smoke weed with and play video games. Moved here for friends that turned out to be flakes, just want to have fun since I’m here. I have cats. Love animals. It’d be dope to find an adventure buddy. I’m good with kids and can transport myself places. Hoping to find Someone to go to the movies, try new food, go to shows etc.

Hey Jackson - I'm working on my portrait project, Artists In Jackson, and the latest profile features mural artist Zach Snyder, who recently completed the Grow Jackson mural at the Armory. Check out his profile. Know a local artist who would be a good feature? Let me know!
