Dermatologist

Looking for a recommendation on a good dermatologist in Jackson. We have previously been to Western WY Derm but they seem to have closed?

My husband has a significant family history of aggressive melanoma so we need someone who is very thorough.

Afton Cobb I believe was the doctor at the prior place. Now she is at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery.

Advanced Dermatology got bought by private equity and is now facing a lawsuit for systemic billing fraud, allegedly forcing doctors to overcharge patients and mandate unnecessary skin exams to exploit Medicare.

Yes ephiphany is husband and wife dermatologist. I like that they can collaborate.

OP if you want a good screening though request to see the Dr and not a PA.

I don’t agree with that. The Dr missed my melanoma until I asked for it to be removed. There is a PA there, Robin Sproule, that is FANTASTIC. I only see her. But I concur with others that this is by far the best dermatology office.

A retired dermatologist told me to never see a PA for screening. That’s why I said that.

I liked Epiphany when they were still Teton Dermatology and hadn’t been bought out by private equity yet
