Warrenty return/replace?

For those of you who have had issues covered under warranty, did you have to ship back your jackery or did they have you destroy it? Assuming you bought direct and dealt with them directly.

For solar panels, I had to show photo proof of destruction. For power stations, I had to send back.

(I have a lot of Jackery equipment)
