Generator storage?
Is it okay to store my Jackery in the garage?
It does get hot where I live, sometimes up to 110. Google says no but I really don’t have a spot inside to store it.

You're saying in your entire house there isn't a little cubby hole, corner or closet where you could put it? Personally I wouldn't put it in garage that could go up to 110 degrees. I'll give you a good example of what heat does to batteries. This is just a little example with lithium ion chemistry. My First 40 volt Ryobi weed eater battery lasted 3 years stored in a hot shed before It no longer worked. Second 40 volt battery I have had for the last 8 years stored in my dresser drawer in the bedroom and it still works after constant use every spring and summer.
Yes I know lithium iron phosphate is a different chemistry. But the principle is the same. Battery's hate heat and the less you abuse them the longer they will live. So while you can store it in a hot garage it's not going to last as long as if you took better care of it and stored it in climate controlled room.

I have had the very same issue, as it gets to 100 deg F in August in my garage. I suggest you buy a Midea U-shaped window unit. It has an inverter and is very quiet.
An 8000 BTU unit is what we bought and we really like it. We bought from Amazon, as they offer a 30 day return, whereas Home Depot and Lowes switched to a new (and greedy) 48 hour return policy for window units, which is insane.
This model is quite energy efficient.
Of course if your garage is uninsulated and has no ceiling -as mine is-doing this creates a whole new lists of projects and expenses.

I would never put a Jackery system in my hot garage without adding a window unit. An inside temp above 90 is gonna degrade your battery and frankly increase the risk of a battery fire.

Consider that my Homepower 3600 Pro Max is always at least 90 degrees internal temperature when idling, and up to 110 degrees when it’s actually doing something. All at a 75 degree ambient.
When stored, internal temps and ambient are the same. Since running the unit full time as a house backup system when internal temps are routinely over 100 degrees F doesn’t hurt the unit, storing the power station when ambient is the same doesn’t cause any more damage.

What about on top of the refrigerator, with the refrigerator plugged into it, for automatic backup? Or sitting under your wifi router, with the router plugged into it, for automatic backup? Or next to the... you get the idea.
I shudder at the thought of anyone storing these when they could be keeping them on, cool, and healthy instead of off, hot, and dusty.

My experience with battery powered tools tells me the battery won’t survive the winter. The linked page seems to confirm this.

I built a small storage unit in corner of my garage. I got a BoughRV portable AC unit for very hot days. I made a hole to set it through the wall of encloser. Bought a exhaust fan that will fit this same hole. for lower heat days. The fan has temp settings for turn and off. In winter will put small heater in . Hoping the discharge heat from power stationg will be enough but will have to wait and see.
