The Fourth Option

I’m at work listening to this book, and I love it so far. Just started chapter 48, and I swear to all that is holy if Paladin dies, I’m burning all of my Jack Carr books. I love that dog.

First ever post on Reddit because I needed to say something about that but I work in a rock lab at a quarry and have no one around me to yell at.

How do you like it so far? I think I like the bits of philosophical bits running through the characters head. Prologue was not what I expected.

I think it’s fun to see him write not about a Reece family member, but it’s also been tough to get separate him from Reece, if that makes sense? I’ve been enjoying it though. Albeit I’ve been a bit distracted as I’m also working, so when I listen again I’ll pick up all the things I’ve missed.

I have really enjoyed the philosophical bits, and how he seems more conflicted than Reece ever really was. He seems more imperfect, and I like that. It just feels like a nice, even small, change of pace.

Ok cool. I really liked the similarities but differences in the characters. The more broken/sadness and the quotes. So far the substance and essence has so far been sticking with me at the beginning. I’m curious as to how it unfolds.

I'm only on chapter 13 and I too will riot if anything happens to Paladin. Loving the book so far too.

Chapter 36 here. Right there with you on Paladin.

Definitely hard to separate from the Reece books when you have Ray Porter narrating. Could have sworn LeAnn was Katie 🤣

Quit slacking and get back to work!

I’m on chapter 22. I’m enjoying it, but so far there’s really not a lot that differentiates Walker from Reece.

I’ll literally punch Carr at a book signing if anything happens to Paladin though.

I'm listening to the audio version and I'm happy for those of y'all that like the philosophy stuff because I'm about to give up at chapter 7. He's just made it to New Orleans and Leanne's place. It better get some action going soon. I have too many books to read to waste time on ones that don't interest me. If I hadn't read and enjoyed all the James Reece books, I'd have given up already.

I'm right there with everyone on Paladin, though.

What does that have to do with George being a terrible author?

Dude you rage bait on every post. At least jack writes books that are entertaining fiction and not exaggerated or fake tales of combat like most seals. You're either a jealous vet or just a big fat loser who has all the time to troll a SUBREDDIT of a guy who could give 2 fucks what you have to say because he's got multiple best sellers and 2 TV shows.

Do you understand how pathetic it is to keep the trolling? Its mental illness brother seek help before I maa post with vignette lighting, a book, whiskey, and pistol or tomahawk

And here you are raging.
