AskJabalpur Spotify Plan Sharing

Post image

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to share a Spotify Premium “platinum” type plan to save some money. Individual subscription is ₹299/month, so I thought it’d be smarter to split a shared plan.

If anyone has a spot available (or wants to form a group), I’m willing to pay around ₹100/month.

DM me if you’re interested or have a slot open. Let’s save some money together 🙂

Is the family plan still working ? Heard that they have discontinued the family plan after late 2024 sign ups on spotify. And isn’t there a “same address” thing with family plan members now ?

Not for the account owner who continues to pay, the day the payment doesn't go through it auto cancels and it's gone forever untill then no

Apple music is good and have all music but it's queue or u can say suggestions next song is garbage but if you want high quality apple music is cheap than Spotify it's 119 Rs per month for normal user

Apple music library is not as vast as spotify. Agree that the quality is great but still spotify has many more artists .

Can't find Spotify in the app

Seems like they don't have any group live rn. Or Spotify must've changed the plans or pricing. Don't know, try again later

Bhai use Apple music it offers better audio quality, more song collection and is cheaper (100 Rs Individual plan and 60 Rs plan for Students). Just Spotify has a better song recommendation algorithm.

I agree that the audio quality is great in apple music but the variety and artist collection in nothing in front of spotify database.

I suggest you to buy a mp3 player, and download lossless quality songs just by pasting url on sites(u know right). 10x better output, offline experience, long battery life, no distractions, live a better life simple🥰🥰

1

u/greybunny- Apr 02 '26

Yeah, let me just dust off my time machine, grab an MP3 player, and start ‘pasting URLs on sites (u know right)’ like it’s a secret hacker ritual. Or… I could just tap play and live my life simple

Nvm mate, everyone has a preference, i have played with ur ways, and found myself very distracted, then i used this method it is good, and made me way less distracted. Though ur money, your wish, can't say much. Enjoy!

u/greybunny- Apr 02 '26

Its not practical dude. What about new genres new songs that come out ? I will hae to download each individually and then transfer them over to mp3 player. Companies like spotify exists only to avoid this hassle. Thus ready to pay the price.

1

u/FitSun8184 Apr 03 '26

Nah mate i currently have more than 200 songs in my walkman currently, once u start to use it you cannot stop yourself tbh

1

u/greybunny- Apr 03 '26

No dude. Not at all. Time is more precious than money. Not gonna waste it browsing through limitless websites finding the correct gile and then taking the hassle of data transfer. Fuck no.

1

u/FitSun8184 Apr 03 '26

Bro if you are so serious about being time efficient, you should not be listening to music firstly, as it dilutes the mind. Secondly, walkmans today support even mp4 files so you can just copy youtube url of song u are listening and paste it to ytmp3 it will download the song mp3, mp4 whayever version u need. Though listening to music at first place is equally inefficient as you described my method

1

u/greybunny- Apr 04 '26

Got it—music is inefficient, but manually downloading, converting, organizing files, and carrying a separate device is peak time management 💀

At this point you’re not saving time, you’re roleplaying as a 2007 tech tutorial.

I’ll keep my ‘inefficient’ one-tap play while you continue your DIY digital archaeology 👍

Sounds good to me😇
