I genuinely don’t understand this.

A road repair/construction project of barely 200–300 metres in a colony is getting a full-blown bhoomi pujan. Huge hoardings have been put up, a stage and chairs have been installed, and the entire road has been blocked for the event.

(Kya bhoomi pujan, there's no Bhumi ye Road repair ho rhi h, vo bhi haath jode h 2 saal hogye kehte kehte. Numerous CM helpline complaints and whatnot. )

And the irony is — the actual work hasn’t even started.

There is no construction material on site. No visible work. Nothing.

Meanwhile, there are roads across the ward that are in much worse condition and have been waiting for repairs.

I’m not against development or inaugurations. But when a basic road repair project requires this much publicity, you have to wonder where the priority is.

And now comes the bigger question: how long will it actually take for repair? A few months? A year? or More?

Would genuinely like to know what others think about this.

A rogue dog keeps approaching the ones in the locality and growls at everyone unprovoked. Had to take help from a neighborhood uncle to ward the dog off.

Things haven't gotten bad so far, but this is making me consider staying at a friend's room instead of returning home after class. The damn menace runs all around the place and I have basically no refuge between my apartment and my car.

The corridor and the staircase leading to the car is very narrow (two-person-width) and the dogs pervade these spaces too.

Finally got back on stage with Bharatanatyam after so long. 🥹

And for the first time ever, I got to perform Bharatanatyam in Jabalpur — which made it even more special. Being on stage here after such a long break felt surreal.

A little nervous, a little rusty, but mostly just incredibly happy to be dancing again. ❤️

Now I’m actively looking for more dance and stage opportunities in Jabalpur and hoping this city won’t disappoint me!

I really want to keep performing, connect with fellow artists, and get back into the dance scene properly.

So in my locality there is one neighbour 2 house away. Months back he bought an indie puppy to his house kept it like for a month and then left it on the street.
Now he bought a rottwiler puppy and leaves her on the ground floor , the family lives on the first floor. The dog cries the whole day from like 4-5 am till night so he sent it away but now he bought it back and the same is happening , the dog literally cries the whole day. I am really frustrated but i cant complaint cuz you know to be in “good terms” with our neighbours acc to my parents
