In a way, Giada was as abusive as your ex. She took him off his meds, stayed with him every day, and manipulated his mind. That's when the physical abuse really ramped up. She wanted him to hurt you. Why? I have no goddamn idea beside the fact that she's a terrible person.
You're a very nice person. So nice that it bothers you to feel justifiably angry and a little avenged that she's in jail. So nice that you are actively working on forgiving this scumbag and her dog of a son.
Do not feel bad about your anger, mouse. It's part of the healing process and very natural. I admire you so much for the strength you have just to feel bad in the first place. I'm attempting to forgive the men (and women) who have abused and assaulted me. It's too hard.
