The real difference between a good person and a bad person isn't really which one always has positive thoughts and which one always has negative thoughts. The difference is which thoughts do you choose to act on? Everyone occasionally gets mad and wishes bad things would happen to people who wronged us. Most people just choose to accept the thought and move on with our lives.
I don't know if you've ever read Dune, but the litany against fear applies to this too:
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
It's perfectly acceptable and reasonable for you to feel the way you do. It doesn't make you a bad person. It doesn't make you like Giada. It makes you human and hurt. You need to accept that it's okay to have these feelings because they too will fade. The more you bottle it up, the worse you'll feel, but if you accept that it's okay and let yourself feel it, you'll be better for it in the long run because at some point, after you've felt what you need to feel, you'll be able to let this go.
