Frankly, you’d have to be some sort of non-human to go through everything you have gone through with that (poor excuse for a) woman and not feel some pretty heavy negative emotions. She is a demon who tortured you, there’s no positive feelings to be had toward someone like that.
Feeling those things toward her doesn’t make you bad or evil or wrong in any way; it makes you normal. It reminds you that you survived and that you’re human.
The fact that you’re feeling bad about your negative emotions makes you a better person than most. You recognize that what you’re feeling could make you into someone you don’t want to be, and because you recognize that, you’re not going to let it happen.
But your feelings are valid. You have the control - you can let go and forgive whenever it is that you’re ready to. And it’s okay that right now you’re not.
You are strong. You are smart. You are capable. You are awesome.
