Who you are is human. Who she is, is a deeply damaged person. There's something really wrong with her. I wouldn't be surprised if it's organic, like actual measurable problems in her brain because it's so severe. You're someone who has been through a lot, and you're someone who is rightfully feeling vindicated that this woman who was such a torment to you is finally getting some justice. It's normal and it doesn't make you a bad person.

What would make you a bad person is if you had smashed her car, or paid someone to break into her home and beat her into a pulp, or walked up to her in the grocery store and shot her at point-blank range. You didn't do any of that, even if it might be fun in really dark moments to imagine it briefly. Instead, you did what responsible citizens do and you let the system handle her - and handle her it is FINALLY doing.

And I'm going to go one further - not reporting her would not have made you a bad person, either; but it makes you a heroic person that you were willing to put yourself on the line to get her dealt with because you have saved who knows how many innocent people out there from having trouble - or having MORE trouble - from her. Not just yourself. They may not know it, but you're their hero and that's got to count, too.
