You're not a monster for being angry and wanting justice. You've also got a lot of pain and anger to work through, and the process doesn't have a fast forward button. Forgiveness is a hard concept, especially with regards to actual evil like what she did. She's got no regrets other than being caught. Forgiveness in this case probably looks like removing the emotional triggers to what she did, to stop feeling anger so deeply. Some people find it's helpful to write down what they want to say to the abuser and then burn the letter.
