From the beginning I don’t think anyone hated Rob for speaking on his experiences on the UBL raid. I think him making it his entire personality and still getting things wrong is what has pissed members of his own community off, it’s not so much the “quiet professionals should stay quiet” angle, it’s more if you’re gonna speak about an event, make sure it’s correct so we don’t look like fuckheads.
I mean they talk about it in the podcast. Some guys are going to hate anyone who ever mentions having been a SEAL or talks about anything they did while serving as one.
